I'm right there with you about using govt to enforce religious positions. But you have to understand that once the govt becomes the vehicle for subjective progressive solutions it can and will be used that way for each and every movement.

Religion in govt is no different to me than the temperance movement... or eugenics... or hearst outlawing hemp.

Once the door is opened... everyone will run through it.

Let's look at it a different way:  religion, by its very nature, is evil.  The idea that one person's imaginary friend is better somehow than someone elses', is a one way ticket to conflict.

Fuck all religion and those who insist that theirs' is the only right way.  We'd all be better off if religion itself was outlawed!!

Ok... but I consider the leftist belief/faith that govt is the all powerful force in this country a religion in itself.

This country and our constitution were founded to protect and promote the individual as the power holder.

The intent was that an individual that caused no one harm was at liberty to exercise their freedom as they pleased.

Your religion is the antithesis of that principle... and certainly as evil as what you project upon christian americans.

consider whatever you like, but no one on the left would accept that government is religion.  Not in any way shape or form.  What you're considering is theocracy, not secularism.

Show me where I project evil upon christian Americans!  I'd like to see all religion outlawed, that doesn't mean I'm for harming or incarcerating people who believe.

It appears I know exactly what I don't want -- religion -- being forced on me by anyone at any time.  You on the other hand claim you don't believe in God, but are evidently willing to "go along" with whatever dogma of the moment appears popular.

It's the belief/faith in all powerful govt that I consider a religion. What you force on me... the individual... are a myriad of subjective social policies that I must partake in at the threat of penalty/incarceration. For instance the obamacaid mandate.

The only thing wrong with Obamacaid is there are privately owned insurance companies involved.  Other than suck profits from policy holders and doctors, what else do they do?  What we need, and will surely get to is Single Payer Healthcare.  Why should good healthcare be extended only to the rich?

This has what to do with your obsession with people of faith?  Why so much hate for someone who doesn't bother you?

But you see, people of faith DO bother me. Like all those good Christians pressing for laws to allow them to discriminate and oppress the LGBT community in the name of Jesus. Mississippi, N. Carolina ....

They proclaim faith in a religion that preaches tolerance and good will, right? Lying, sick, hateful Christian bastards. Fuck'em.

And what about those hateful, self-righteous Jesus-freak creeps who have enacted laws demanding women who have had abortions to identify themselves, so they can be publicly humiliated and ridiculed?

People who go out of their way to hate ... fundamentalist, self righteous, cruel and arrogant. Any chance I get to fuck over these evil folks, I take.

Just think of me as an avenging angel, Markle. LOL

Have to identify themselves?  You mean they have a public website someplace where everyone who has ever had an abortion has to sign up and show their ID?  Really?

Or are you talking about having to identify oneself when signing up for the major surgery of an abortion?  Wow, certainly wouldn't want that to happen.

You talk about the hate of others...and then you BOAST about your hate and vitriol for anyone who does not think as you do.

I'm impressed!  You must be so proud!

The article says the new law will require women who have had abortions in that State to identify themselves to a State commission investigating abortion practices. The commission wants to evaluate the statistics provided by Planned Parenthood. The women, of course, were guaranteed anonymity when they applied for the service. ACLU and Planned Parenthood attorneys are already on the case. It seems obvious, considering the anti-abortion stance of the lawmakers on the committee, that there is a very high potential for the list of women who have had abortions to find its way to anti-abortion activists who can use the data to harass and oppress such women.

It's another case of a creepy religion using political power to force its beliefs on others! And you dare to ask when has anyone been hurt by such fundamentalist terrorists?

Any chance I get to fuck such Christian fundamentalist terrorists, I take with enthusiasm. You bet I'm proud to do so!!

Please show us the link to a reliable site where states have enacted laws depriving women of their privacy. That is something I could not support but proposing a law, and passing a law are two entirely different things.

My good friend, Socialist Wordslinger picks up where he left off. Ol' Wordslinger must have suffered a psychiatric overload when Donald Trump won the election.

What kind of God is okay, fully okay with letting a four-year-old, innocent child, die in excruciating pain after a bitter, life-long siege?

You claim you can make universes, yet you can't save an innocent child? You rotten sonofabitch!

I've got your fucked up plan where it belongs, in my toilet. Look at the linked story.  Look at the pain on this child's face.  Imagine what it would be like if she were your child.

But The Lord loves us all, right?

No baby. The overload was learning of the four-year-old's horrible suffering. Fuck you and your god.
