That's a good point about the barbecue. But the food product sold right beside the Navarre Bridge isn't pork or barbecue of any kind. Actually I'm not even sure if it technically can be called "food" but any Navarre resident would know what it is. lol

Was it owned by the same person or his son that had a place on Garden Street? Just a guess. Good question...

That can be easily googled too. We need one in which the answer can't be found with google. Put your thinking cap on.

That one stumps me so it could work. But how long ago did it close? Mythical may not have been there long enough to know about it.

Okay I think I've got it. I tried to get the answer to this on google but couldn't.

Who owns the very tall structure on the island east of Navarre Beach.

Anyone who has lived in Navarre would know the answer.

It may be just a Myth. Therefore he, Mythical should know it.

Mythical definition, pertaining to, of the nature of, or involving a myth

mythical also said he lived in Ft. Walton Beach so here's another one.

There is a restaurant in downtown Ft. Walton Beach that has been there almost since Ft. Walton Beach first became a town and it's still in operation.

What is the name of it?

Here's another hint. It's been in Ft. Walton Beach as long as the Waterburger.
When I was a kid and my Mom and Dad took me to see the grandparents in Panama City about every other weekend, we would stop for lunch at either the Waterburger or this restaurant because that's about all there was then. lol

One thing I remember so clearly about all those trips to Panama City in the 50's and early 60's.

It would be me,  my Mom and Dad,  and my aunt and uncle and my cousin going over.  And every time we took that trip,  my Dad and his brother would start talking to each other and saying "we sure should buy some of this land on 98 for a thousand dollars an acre because someday it's gonna be worth a lot of money".

My cousin and I are still telling each other how much we wish they had acted on that because now we'd both be rich as Studer and Levin combined.  lol

I remember this too. One time we all went to Dusenberry's Par 3 Golf beside the casino (P'Cola Beach). My Dad and uncle loved to play golf on that thing and we did it all the time. I say "thing" because the fairways were nothing but beach sand and weeds and the greens looked like the rough on most golf courses. lol

When we were coming back and got on the beach bridge, the adults got a wild hair and said "let's go on over to Panama City and surprise them for the hell of it".
And then one of them (I think it was my mother) said "but we left the lights on and the doors unlocked at home".
But they all then decided "who cares, it's no big deal" and we went on over.

Them were the days.

Back then there was a little concession stand between the casino and the "golf course". It was manned by a drunk dude with a big red nose everybody called "Uncle Benny". That was Fred Levin's uncle. lol

I get my taxes done by an old friend in Valparaiso. As I was coming back home a few weeks ago I decided to take the Navarre Bridge and drive the island back.
As I was coming west past Portofino I came to "Sugar Bowl Lane". It's a half circle street with houses on both sides with the Sugar Bowl in the middle of it.
The Sugar Bowl now belongs only to the people who have it in the back yards of their houses. There is no longer any public access to it.

What a travesty. It's like if they were to put private houses all around the rim of the Grand Canyon and nobody but the people who live in those houses could experience it.
