It is apparent that too many of you still live in the grand delusion that America is the greatest nation in the world. America is 36th in math, 28th in science, 24th in literacy as of 2013 results. The America business plan is so broken that it can no longer create enough jobs. The US economy is about $2 trillion per year smaller than the EU economy and the Swiss economy is not part of that since they are not in the EU. One-third of the wealth of this world is in Switzerland, so eat shit and die, no commas fits more than you know.
When FATCA goes into effect on July 1, 2014 the countdown clock on America will have started. Foreign investment will slow down, many will abandon the USD and put their money elsewhere.
Someone commented the other day that the dollar is back up in strength. Wrong, the USD was 6 to7 CHF and as of Friday closed at .8774 CHF per 1 USD. The weak USD translates to high energy prices in the petrodollar world and is exactly why most of the world is moving away from the USD and trading in their own currencies. For you mathematically challenged folks that means $100,000,000 is only 87,740,000 CHF.
I dumped the USD in 2005, now most of the world is, too.
Once nations abandon the USD as the reserve trade currency, and that will happen this year, your smugness might turn into horror as you watch the standard of living in America drop precipitously. None of you will find any answers in (D) or (R) other than you might finally figure out who to point the finger of blame at.
This is no longer a unipolar world where the USA is the be-all, end-all of anything, anymore.
Most Americans just do not 'get it' that the rest of the world is tired of subsidizing your lazy asses to sit in air conditioned comfort and live in the delusion that America still matters to anyone outside of America.
The other topic I commented on regards Ukraine. A place probably none of you have ever been and are utterly incompetent to comment on until you have spent as much time there as I have, which is over 4 months in the past 4 years on business as if that were the business of anyone on this forum.
Cannot read a sentence and come to the right conclusion. Cannot read a map, or understand anything about this world other than what you see, hear or read in America.
Good citizenship means informed citizens. Americans can only go into the voting booth and elect by (D) or (R) and think they have completed the mission. Not even close when not even a brain cell considered which of the two or even (I) was the best choice as a leader.
Vaclav Havel was right, a nation gets the politicians it deserves. Forums such as this prove exactly why that is true.
I noticed clearly what was wrong in 2005-2006 when banding the third parties together and each held to their platform that neither wins elections nor changes the course of America. Right now the proper visual image of America's fate is a 747 at full throttle headed straight into the side of a mountain. Laugh and pontificate all the way to impact, will not save you.

Chelyabinsk Russia on February 15, 2013 was not #1, it was number #51 and less than 16 hours later #52 missed from another direction by a mere 27,700km, inside the geosynchronous satellites.
