This thing is a fricking gold minesays Mr Oats.

No worry Mr Yella. There will be cash payouts to all city residents. Kind of like the Money Alaska people get from their state. Word has it it will be in cash and be in little Blue Envelopes signed by Mr Studer. Consider your self lucky, very lucky.

Do not know the exact amount, but Hallmark regularly posts the same.

If you need a great view to help you enhance your health then the Y on the bay is the thing for you. Hope your health does not suffer if the YMCA on the Bay doesn't materialize. A view is a terrible thing to waste.

I run outdoors (treadmill if raining) and use other cardio machines if I'm injured. I also lift weights. If I'm going to a gym 5 days a week, why wouldn't I want it overlooking the bay? I don't ever use the park now, except for a few ball games. My monthly dues are less than I would likely spend at a restaurant at the same location, less than a hotel room, and I can use the gym every day of the week (with free kid care for two hours a day).

The city is doing just great. Maybe a little short on the Natural gas money but nothing a surcharge can not cure. LOL

Advance Pensacola Charles Bare

If you study the numbers as I have you will find that the gas utility fund is showing a budget shortfall of $13,499,100 or approximately 25% of it’s fiscal year budget. This includes decreased estimated revenues of more than $7 million in residential user fees and nearly $4 million in commercial user fees. This is particularly scary because Pensacola Energy has provided an $8 million transfer to fund city operations for the past few years. To give you some context, property taxes only provide about $12 million to our budget.

The supporting documentation lists a $13,499,100 decrease for various accounts. The problem is… which accounts are we talking about. So far, we don’t know. I am concerned about the safety of our current gas delivery system and having adequate staff to maintain it. Item 7 also includes a $2 million reduction to the airport budget and nearly $1 million to the general fund. If you add those together, we could be talking about a $16,500,000 reduction in our total budget. That is very significant.

Total bullshit.

Ya know, if you'd stick your fingers in your ears, the fetid hatred would stop leaking out.
