One other point.
The FDA says we need to limit our aspartame consumption to 3750 miligrams of aspartame per day.
That's equivalent to about twenty-five 12 ounce cans of diet soda.
Even with all that aspartame I take in, I'm still under the FDA recommended limit.

But you go right ahead and believe the alex joneses and the "internet scientists" and the other assorted crackpots. Because they're all the real experts on medical science. The fake scientists at the FDA are just paid stooges of the Illuminatti and The New World Order.

Mercola gives the lie to the notion that holistic practitioners tend to be so absorbed in treating patients that they aren't effective businesspeople. Do you not trust me? I'm telling you that I have eaten 600 lbs of the stuff and it aint had no effect on me. Do you think I'm lying but that quack is trustworthy? Why would you do that. You've been to my house and gotten to know me. You don't know that quack from adam. Not to mention that I don't have the agenda he does of trying to profit from his bullshit. Bob wrote:By the way, I never heard it mentioned whether Bloomberg's 16 ounce limit also applies to "diet" sodas.
So I just googled it. And no it doesn't.
The Bloomberg limit applies to "sugary beverages". Here's how they define that...

"According to the city, it’s a drink with more than 25 calories per eight ounces, which has either been sweetened by the manufacturer or mixed with another caloric sweetener. The ban did not apply to pure fruit juice or fruit smoothies, drinks that are more than half milk, calorie-free diet sodas or alcoholic beverages. Milkshakes, if they were more than half milk or ice cream, were exempt. But sweetened coffee drinks, if less than half milk, were not. (Frappucinos were a source of confusion as late as last week.)"

So let's say you go to a convenience store with a fountain soft drink dispenser (such is the case in every modern day convenience store you go into).
The question I have is how in the fuck does the clerk know if you put Diet Coke or regular Coke in that 40 ounce cup? How in the name of hell was that supposed to be enforced? Does anyone know?

It's a stupid law. I don't know how they would enforce it, but it shouldn't even be on the books. People should know better; but even if they don't, no one has the right to tell people they can't buy em.

There's a huge difference, tex.

When it comes to judging romneys and obamas and all that putrid nonsense, NEITHER YOU NOR I HAVE ANY FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE OF ANY OF IT. IT'S ALL SECOND HAND INFORMATION.

BUT WHEN IT COMES TO ASPARTAME, I AM THE HORSE'S MOUTH. AFTER PUTTING 600 POUNDS OF THE FUCKING STUFF IN MY BODY, I'M PROBABLY MORE EXPERT ON THE EFFECTS OF IT THAN ANY INTERNET DOCTOR OR FDA DOCTOR OR ANY OTHER DOCTOR OR ANY OTHER HUMAN BEING.
A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!

If anybody wants to know what the textbook definition of quackery is, it's that photo of Palin holding up the big gulp.

Why?

Because, number one, aint no way Palin drinks 40 ounce cups of sugar water and has that body. To even pose in that photo like that is just a big damn whopper of a lie.

And number two, if she drinks 40 ounce cups of diet soda then that jew mayor never banned that anyway.

P.T. Barnum would have a name for that photo. He called it "humbug".
Which is about all politics has become anymore.

What is really strange is that Markle and PaceDog would actually--with great enthusiasm--vote for Palin were she ever to make it on the ticket.

They're yellow dog republicans. Not only would they vote for Palin, they'd also vote for Palin's yellow dog if he was the opposition to their "enemy" too.

She did a great job of ridiculing the Nanny State Progressives, led by Mayor Bloomberg who thinks it is governments place to make decisions on what their subjects eat and how much.

Socrates should have also included racism in his comment about the race being lost. From the looks of the hopelessly racist KFC photoshopped ignorant picture to the very unflattering pic of the First Lady we can see you have nothing constructive or factual to offer.

I think this is the first time I have ever complained about a post being racist but this is just disgusting to the max. Just get over it! We have a black president!!

He could come up with the most wonderful things and you fools would chop off your stuck up myopic noses to spite your faces. I swear you all take the cake.

PS Wait until you see the cover of the next Vogue Magazine with Michelle on the cover. I bet it will be beautiful.

Please show me where I posted any photo-shopped photos of President Barack Hussein Obama and a barrel of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Please show me where I posed an unflattering picture of Michelle Obama. Yes, she is a beautiful woman but she does make some outrageous faces.

The Obama's do not see themselves as PUBLIC SERVANTS but rather leaders of the Hollywood Elite.

She's not saying anything, she's drinking from the BIG GULP.

Doesn't prove there is anything on the teleprompter or that she was reading anything from it. So what? She is a far better speaker than President Barack Hussein Obama who has to read his speeches or he wouldn't even pass the first speech at Toastmasters.

Firstly, markle, the image on a teleprompter is only displayed on the speaker's side of the screen. That's why any photo taken from the audience perpsective shows the teleprompter to be blank piece of glass.

Here she is seen constantly looking at the script on the teleprompter while making an address...

They all use a teleprompter, markle. Even someone as brilliant as she is. lol

Here's five minutes of video of her CPAC speech, markle.
In the beginning you can see the two teleprompters on either side of her.
They're atop pole stands.
As the video starts to frame her more closely, watch her continually moving
her eyes from one teleprompter to the other.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F44-jKf2GeY

She's not just reading a teleprompter. She's rehearsed and basically committed a written script to memory. But she's using the teleprompter setup as an aid to help her remember the lines. No different than Obama. No different than Romney. No different than Limbaugh. No different that any of these professional talkers. Because that's really all any of these people are.
They talk for a living. None of them are much more than that no matter if MSNBC tells you one is above that or Fox News tells you the other is above that. When it gets right down to it, they're all just professional talkers.

I agree! She couldn't even pass the Katie Couric test back in 2008. She was also a 1/2 term governor of a state with a total population smaller than a medium-sized city in the lower 48. Yet these wing-nuts would trip over each other to pull the lever for her if she ran for President. Maybe we should hope she does run. It would be fun to watch the GOP implode another election.
