Inquiring Minds (at least mine wants to know)

Why is it that when unmarried women go to the hospital and have a baby that they put the last name of the sperm donor on the birth certificate instead of their own last name. Yet when they go to get welfare,medicaid and food stamps that they tell the folks in charge that they don't know who the daddy is. Who in the hell is checking on this? It just amazes me that this has been going on for years and nothing is done about it, and people wonder why this country is going broke!

Partially....as it seems that many of these same women repeat said process to make more money off the teat of government,
