Christie's gonna give a press conference at 10 AM (central).  This oughta be entertaining.

Unless he's resigning, he's really got nothing to say.

Politicians ALWAYS have something to say.  That's what they all know how to do is talk.  Unfortunately, they don't know how to do much else. lol

Except for Bush. That moron didn't even know how to talk. lol

I don't like chris so I wont vote for him anyway. but this is stupid.

No, this is why you're stupid and a moron. Intentionally causing a traffic jam for four hours and putting people lives at risk is wholly unacceptable and inexcusable.

How do you feel about supplying high powered weapons to criminal cartels that resulted in numerous deaths?

Would you support a full and open investigation that disclosed those responsible and held them accountable?

Think of it like this. It would be like if the slackers who work for Mayor Ashton shut down one side of the Pensacola Bay Bridge for FOUR DAYS only because somebody didn't support Mayor Ashton in the election. And then a grinning, wisecracking Mayor Ashton tried to cover it up for 120 days.

I would not support that. I would prefer a military tribunal held for them at Gitmo.

So you're trying to justify this by bringing up another travesty?

Justify? LOL... I want full cooperation, disclosure, and investigation in both... do you? Or allow one a full pass?

A little sideline. They just flashed on the tv screen that the George Washington Bridge is the busiest bridge in the world. 102 million vehicles a year cross it. 232,000 every day.

The fat prick is on a sinking ship and has nowhere else to go other than: "I'm completely innocent! Can you imagine my surprise when I found out yesterday about this sacrilege ..."

And yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus.

I wonder what kind of deodorant Christy used before his press conference?

The subject is Chris Christy's involvement in the traffic tie-up of the busiest bridge in America.

Obviously Christy is in the wrong, terribly wrong.

What the hell drives you that you have to turn this into a partisan issue? There's lots about Obama that's wrong. NOBODY should get a pass.

How about sending Bush and Cheney to Gitmo for interrogation and punishment? Shit. Now you've got me doing it!

I just want one standard... that is the antithesis of partisan. Let the chips fall where they may. If christy limits that...

the parallel is complete.

None of these buttholes,  Bush,  Cheney,  Obama or Christie would last five seconds if they were waterboarded.  Cheney's mechanical heart would sputter out.  Bush would find a way to go AWOL.  Christy's blubber would probably prevent him from even being waterboarded.  And that stringbean chain smoking obama would start praying to his gods allah and karl marx.

The ants aren't hurting anybody so why launch them into space.  Send all those dirtbag politicians in their place.

By "open investigation", I suppose you're referring to the transparent witch-hunts in which Issa has been involved.

Those circuses where he has repeatedly leaked partial, misleading, and erroneous information in an effort to embarrass the administration?

I guess you think we have an honest broker in Issa?

You'd get a sympathetic ear from me if you suggested that government should have no classified information.

I think you'd agree, however, that has as much chance of happening as the rest of your libertarian ideals.

Unfortunately, in the absence of that there will always be arguments over what material should be rightfully classified.

Pkr is on target as always. Let Cristy pay if he did the "no no". But, let Obama do the same.

Partisan politics have led us to this emotional war and I would hope that we all can try to decide what is best for the Country.

Yes, we disagree as to whether the amount of National Debt, supporting those who cannot or do not wish to support themselves has a priority.

We all have different opinions and hope that we are allowed to keep them.

But.... As Pkr says, it must be equally applied.

Thanks Stormy... I just don't think we can expect better from our govt until we start demanding more from our politicians.

Obama flat said he had no knowledge (sound familiar?) of gunrunning and there were no white house communications about it... then asserted executive privilege to squash the investigation. Is there something there that you find misleading or erroneous?

I notice you left out the elephant in the room...actually more than one elephant...yet you call for non-partisanship. And in the face of the largest transfer of wealth from the bottom to the top of the heap since the Great Depression...over the past 30 years, with the bulk of that transfer occurring during Republican administrations... you have the unmitigated gall to talk about people who you perceive "do not wish" to support themselves. And the answer to the near crash of 2008? Austerity, of course. Why should we spend money just because 50% of the population is hungry, or homeless, or worried, or sick?
It's their fault, right? They should have planned better, shouldn't have bitten off more than they could chew? Uh, nooooooooooooooo...the long and the short of it is that the "financiers" created a separate economy that grew just like a cancer on the real bread and butter economy and gutted it. And ordinary working people paid the price. It was the "trickle down" economic policies of Reagan that started the trend, which was continued under both Bush administrations, and to some extent under Clinton. But the GOP has been largely responsible...by creating a laissez-faire business climate and worshiping at the feet of the sacred bull on Wall Street.
