The battle for equal rights for all American citizens is ongoing and your attempts to take things out of context and create a new reality is nothing new, but one thing remains the same......you would like the United States to be destroyed, black people to return to subservient place to white people, and Nazi ideology to prevail. It was wrong then, and it is wrong now......and thankfully the guy upstairs must agree that you are full of chit, because freedom and liberty are winning......and the nazis remain a fringe group of crazies who are just like Frank Collins......seriously depraved......and by golly we have a black president who is our commander and chief......and is really, really smart, and not very good at basketball......go figure.

Perhaps that's because he's not black but got some of that white both you and him hate so much. Saying I am not even close to being a NAZI is useless. I am a Libertarian and want all men free red and yellow black and white... Oh I meant to mention I spent Friday night listening to a black man in Mobile named Charles that is THE best karaoke singer I have ever known. He doesn't have a tooth in his mouth but the most beautiful singing I have ever heard comes from that beautiful man. He got so many standing ovations that we got tired of standing up.

Accusations of being an infidel

During the 1800 presidential campaign, the New England Palladium wrote, "Should the infidel Jefferson be elected to the Presidency, the seal of death is that moment set on our holy religion, our churches will be prostrated, and some infamous 'prostitute', under the title of goddess of reason, will preside in the sanctuaries now devoted to the worship of the most High."[29] Federalists attacked Jefferson as a "howling atheist" and infidel, claiming that his attraction to the religious and political extremism of the French Revolution disqualified him from public office.[30][31] At that time, calling a person an infidel could mean a number of things, including that they did not believe in God. It was an accusation commonly levelled at Deists, although they believe in a deity. It was also directed at those thought to be harming the Christian faith in which they were raised.

While opposed to the institutions of organized religion, Jefferson consistently expressed his belief in God. For example, he invoked the notion of divine justice in 1782 in his opposition to slavery,[32] and invoked divine Providence in his second inaugural address.[33]

Jefferson did not shrink from questioning the existence of God. In a 1787 letter to his nephew and ward, Peter Carr, who was at school, Jefferson offered the following advice:

Fix Reason firmly in her seat, and call to her tribunal every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve the homage of reason than of blindfolded fear. ... Do not be frightened from this inquiry by any fear of its consequences. If it end in a belief that there is no God, you will find incitements to virtue in the comfort and pleasantness you feel in its exercise and in the love of others which it will procure for you. -- (Jefferson's Works, Vol. ii., p. 217)[34] ”

Following the 1800 campaign, Jefferson became more reluctant to have his religious opinions discussed in public. He often added requests at the end of personal letters discussing religion that his correspondents be discreet regarding its contents.[5]

But I like this Jefferson quote the best...

The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.[37]

I don't think he was a Nazi. But I feel certain that he would never have been a friend to Dynasty Duck.

I think Woody Harrelson would be great as Phil when they make the Duck movie.

I just thank the good lord baby jesus that the wingnutz can continue to stuff their ample guts with lard without worrying that the Cracker Barrel doesn’t share their hatred and prejudices.

Lord knows that a backlash from the gay community is a very remote possibility.

A gay boycott of Cracker Barrel would be about as effective as a teabagger boycott of Ebony magazine.

I think Cracker Barrel fired people for being gay back in the 90's. They were still segregating their customers only a few short years ago. They are a perfect sponsor for the Ducks.

It was a few restaurants that were accused. It was certainly not a company policy. We have patronized Cracker Barrel since the mid 80's...great restaurant when traveling. When I had the AAU traveling basketball team we always ate at Cracker Barrel and my team was black, white and hispanic. Never a problem.

Don't start your racial crap.

I think this is all a conspiracy to get rid of the rest of the old bigots in this country.

Between supporting Chik-Fil-A, Paula Dean, and Cracker Barrel, they'll all be dead from congestive heart failure in a few short years.

Huzzah!

We are fortunate to have somebody on this forum who can speak for god and be a nazi at the same time.  God must have a great sense of humor.

Thank you for sharing.

Where did I say anywhere, or infer, that "God has ordained that Duck Dynasty products be sold in Cracker Barrel?"

We are all well aware that comprehension is not one of your strong points but if you will re-read my headline, I said that CAPITALISM caused the Cracker Barrel Corporation to put the Duck Dynasty merchandise back on their shelves.

What did I not make clear?

I'll tell you one thing you have never made clear...the absolute fact that you take filthy lucre to spout FASCIST PROPAGANDA on this (and other) forums. Deny it, Markle. No denial is tantamount to an admission.

Ian McKellen (Gandalf in Harry Potter) has that role nailed.
Plus McKellen is gay and since the show Duck Dynasty was created by an actor who does gay porn movies,  what could be more appropriate.  lol

Phil Robertson had something to say about that (speaking about the world as it existed pre-civil rights movement)...

“I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person," Robertson is quoted in GQ. "Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field.... They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’—not a word!... Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.”

You missed the boat on this, Seaoat. Teo is not the forum Nazi; he's just confused. Markle is the forum Nazi.

This cannot be verified but some media outlets are reporting that A&E has relented ad will allow Phil to return to Duck Dynasty. So far there has been no verifiable statement from A&E.

That should clear it all up. I'm sure Phil Duck won't have anything bad to say about A&E or God forbid DISNEY and their movies.

“Because religious belief, or non-belief, is such an important part of every person’s life, freedom of religion affects every individual. Religious institutions that use government power in support of themselves and force their views on persons of other faiths, or of no faith, undermine all our civil rights. Moreover, state support of an established religion tends to make the clergy unresponsive to their own people, and leads to corruption within religion itself. Erecting the “wall of separation between church and state,” therefore, is absolutely essential in a free society.” -- Thomas Jefferson, to the Virginia Baptists (1808) ME 16:320. This is his second kown use of the term “wall of separation,” here quoting his own use in the Danbury Baptist letter. This wording of the original was several times upheld by the Supreme Court as an accurate description of the Establishment Clause: Reynolds (98 US at 164, 1879); Everson (330 US at 59, 1947); McCollum (333 US at 232, 1948)
