Get set to be offended a lot over the next 4 years. Trump himself opened that door when he talked about dating his daughter.

Yes, he did ...

... he talked about her body, talked about her being a "piece of ass", talked about wanting to date her, and talked about being more sexually attracted to her than to his wife when ... she ... was ... 13.

SeaOat is desperate to normalize this cretin, when there's nothing normal about any of this.

It's no longer speculation when Trump has actually said it.

No Sal.... insinuating he's sleeping with his daughter was never part of the comment. Leave the children out of it.....otherwise is just shows how sleazy the poster really is.

You act as if it's about your children, or great, great, great, grandchildren. Not a public figure capable of destroying the world. What a pompous ass.  Laughing

It's pretty funny watching y'all trying to claim the moral high ground in support of an absolutely immoral human being.

Joanie I can kind of understand - she actually was craven enough to vote for the cretin - hiding her head in the sand is probably a sound decision at this point.

SeaOat, however, needs to put his big boy pants on and recognize the situation for what it is - NOT NORMAL.

The only good thing about it is it's people like them that make it easy to understand how Hitler took control of Germany. Don't point out the problem just silence the messenger.

But trump made an allegation about CNN and he should have let him respond, even Shep Smith on Fox thinks trump violated his 1st amendment rights. And Fox cannot be wrong

Unlike your beloved news outlets, Fox News does not require their employees to march in lock-step with a particular agenda.

This is the point of a free press and having press conferences where reporters can ask the President questions face to face. The Trump communications have often been one way tweets broadcasting his opinions and thoughts without anyone there to ask him to justify or explain what he's saying.

It is creepy to see people writing here about how we need news but not biased news when there is so much slanted and biased news HOWEVER no news outlet should be silenced because some people think it is biased. What do you want, a "ministry of Truth"? This is a free democracy. We need the press, all of it.

How was the news silenced?

President Trump took seventeen questions, tough questions. Far more than was ever taken by Petulant President Obama.

Yes, the biased left wing media are out of sorts because President Trump is reaching the citizens without the filter of the media.

We have entered Orwellian times of Newspeak and doublethink. It is a scary time because with the internet, facts have become secondary to learned people telling the truth. We have a book burning anti intellectual anti journalism movement which ultimately is trying to destroy the foundation of democracy. One really begins to wonder how extensive Putin's agents have impacted our information sources. This resentment toward intellectualism and science is troubling. It fits the mold of historical fascism.

How was the news silenced?

I was responding to Joani's comment (below) in which she said "biased media needs to stop." This is absurd in that it would require someone to decide who was biased and who, therefore, needed to be stopped. Stopping in this case means to silence. Get it?

I agree with Vector....biased media needs to stop. We need unbiased journalists not entertainers.

In very general terms it can be said that the main stream media is no more "liberal" than the corporations who own the newspapers and networks. The MSM has generally helped the ruling class drum up public support for wars that later proved to be more for economic reasons to benefit corporate interests than to "fight for our Freedom" etc.

Please explain to us how exposing government misdeeds or corruption or lies or secrets somehow is a filter. The Trump tweets are something we apparently have to get used to but HE needs to get used to being questioned by the press, the free press. The press holds politicians accountable. We need more of that, not less.

CNN got a question... and there were literally hundreds of reporters there. FAKE OUTRAGE..!!

And Obama never did that to a non-Soros news network. ....

This is about facts. Conway lied on multiple TV shows denying that President elect Trump was briefed on a two page memo. She accused CNN of releasing the Buzz feed information with a link on their web page. The link did not go to the Buzz feed story. Another huge lie. CNN has journalistic integrity and has been completely correct on this story, and for what ever reason, the Trump team has been lying and denying real news. Conway is not in command of facts and continues to outright lie. She said the link went to Buzz Feed on the CNN website. It did not. She said President elect never met with or reviewed the alleged memo, yet FBI director met personally with him in regard to the memo. This is not how open societies and democracies operate. The CNN work product was good journalism and did NOT go to the speculation of Buzz feed. The question at the press conference was called fake news. It was not. It was a real memo, and the President elect fully knew the same as did Conway. Disgraceful.

So I guess some of you are saying if I made an accusation against you, it is okay if I ask boards to censor or not let you post your reply to me? I am correct in thinking that aren't I? Trump made the accusation and he should have been allowed to respond.

After all CNN had a hand in getting this clown elected along with the other new's organization's. Without these new's organization's it could have gone the other way.

BTW did you all see cspan today when Russian news broke in?

If this leak had been harmful to Obama he would've had cnn wiretapped and the leaker fired by now.
