This is the point of a free press and having press conferences where reporters can ask the President questions face to face. The Trump communications have often been one way tweets broadcasting his opinions and thoughts without anyone there to ask him to justify or explain what he's saying.

It is creepy to see people writing here about how we need news but not biased news when there is so much slanted and biased news HOWEVER no news outlet should be silenced because some people think it is biased. What do you want, a "ministry of Truth"? This is a free democracy. We need the press, all of it.

How was the news silenced?

I was responding to Joani's comment (below) in which she said "biased media needs to stop." This is absurd in that it would require someone to decide who was biased and who, therefore, needed to be stopped. Stopping in this case means to silence. Get it?

I agree with Vector....biased media needs to stop. We need unbiased journalists not entertainers.

President Trump took seventeen questions, tough questions.  Far more than was ever taken by Petulant President Obama.

Yes, the biased left wing media are out of sorts because President Trump is reaching the citizens without the filter of the media.
