The real scandal with the IRS issue is that organizations like the Tea Party are attempting to violate our tax laws by claiming tax exemption as social welfare organizations. Nobody is mentioning that they are a purely political organization and should not have made application for these tax exemptions in the first place.
Giving these groups an exemption they don't deserve affects the taxes of the average American.
A liar is a liar and a criminal is a criminal. If they were Arab Terrorists people would be happy they were targeted and caught.

The real scandal is that even those that were investigated were not denied

That, and the fact that a group like Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS didn't even get investigated.

C'mon, man.

The whole news media attack on the IRS was to make it harder for them to deny those applications. The leaders of our corporate media want to make the issue that the IRS is being unfair to conservative groups, when the real issue is those groups trying to cheat the average American taxpayer by claiming exemptions for themselves.
It's a diversionary tactic and so far it's working.
Just more wrongful tax exemptions for groups that should be ineligible and more screwing of middle class Americans.

The biggest of these was American Action Network, formed by Norm Coleman, the zombie who became Senator from Minnesota after the suspicious death in a plane crash of Senator Paul Wellstone, probably the most vocal opponent of George W. Bush's policies, including the Iraq war.

WHY are Hasidic Jews given tax free status for having 1 religious service in their home annually? There are hundreds of them in Woodbury, NY in a little developement named Kiryas Joel.. Many of them work in the diamond district in NYC and are very very wealthy..

Now thats funny in a hyperpartisan, hypocritical way.

"Organizing for Action
Statement of Purpose
Organizing for Action is a nonprofit organization established to support President Obama in achieving enactment of the national agenda Americans voted for on Election Day 2012. OFA will advocate for these policies throughout the country and will mobilize citizens of all parties and diverse points of view to speak out for speedy passage and effective implementation of this program, including gun control, sensible environmental policies to address climate change and immigration reform. In addition, OFA will encourage the formation of chapters that will be dedicated at the grassroots level to this program, but also committed to identifying and working progressive change on a range of issues at the state and local level. In carrying its work, OFA will operate as a "social welfare" organization within the meaning of section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code."

Sounds pretty POLITICAL to me. Where do you draw the line between OK and illegal? Oh that's right, libertard hypocrites draw it at the party line......

It's that kind of logic or lackthereof that created the mess in the first place...some are still so ignorant that they believe it's ok for some to gain the status and not others purely on political beliefs...Don't think the administration ever had a clue that their allies in the media would question this selective discrimination....but if tea party...conservative...patriot...were replaced with race...gay organizations or liberal then there would have been an immediate outcry...The false anger on the left is that they can't believe they were caught....

Sal, I've been meaning to ask you something for some time now. Is there a reason you post in such a tiny font? I have trouble reading your posts unless I clidk "reply." Only then, in reply mode, can I read it most of the time. I would need a magnifying glass to read your posts on the forum.

Or is it just my computer that receives your posts in such a small font?
