No one was injured in the incident, which happened around 11:20 a.m., police said.
The man, reported wearing orange sweat pants, fired shots toward a house at 603 East Baars Street while trying to hit a passing car, according to police and residents of the house. The car ran into the chain-link fence in front of the house, backed out and drove away.
Police have no suspects at this time and have not determined a motive for the shooting, according to Lt. Rodney Eagerton.
One person was inside the house when the shots were fired but was not hit. The home owners, who did not want to give their names, said no bullets hit the house.
