Guess what word is conspicuously missing from that title?

Again too funny.   Had the Senate bill been passed by the House and signed into law there would have been additional personnel which could have increased the deportation of criminals from this country.  The Senate Bill passed by a large bipartisan majority would have dealt harshly with criminals and put more resources on getting them out of the country.  So now there is under staffing, not enough administrative courts to speed the deportation process of criminals.....we pay a price for confusion and propaganda.

He didn't even read the article. The procedures and guidelines are directly from obama and holder.

Imagine what his illegal immigration reform would look like.

S. 744 also addresses long-overdue shortcomings of the immigration removal, detention, and court processes, ... giving immigration judges more opportunity to make case-by-case determinations on removal decisions, ... It also increases the penalties for certain criminal activities, making it more difficult or impossible to become a legal resident due to drunk-driving convictions, gang activity, domestic violence, passport fraud, and identity theft.   With the additional funding more border guards, administrative judges, and more efficient deportation process.

The bill makes enormous investments in border security, including the following: deploying at least 38,405 full-time Border Patrol agents along the southern border (including an additional 19,200 more than currently in place); mandating an electronic exit system at all ports where Customs and Border Protection agents are deployed; constructing at least 700 miles of fencing, including double fencing; increasing mobile surveillance; deploying aircraft and radio communications; constructing additional Border Patrol stations and operating bases; hiring additional prosecutors, judges, and staff; providing additional training to border officers; and increasing prosecutions of illegal border crossings. The bill specifies mandatory area-specific technology and infrastructure that includes watch towers, camera systems, mobile surveillance systems, ground sensors, fiber-optic tank inspection scopes, portable contraband detectors, radiation isotope identification devices, mobile automated targeting systems, unmanned aircraft, radar systems, helicopters, and marine vessels, among other minimum requirements. The bill mandates 24-hour surveillance of the border region using mobile, video, and portable systems, as well as unmanned aircraft, and deploys 1,000 distress beacon stations in areas where migrant deaths occur. Interior enforcement against visa overstays is also increased. The Department of Homeland Security is required to initiate removal (deportation) proceedings, confirm that relief from removal is pending or granted, or otherwise close 90 percent of the cases of immigrants who have overstayed their visas by more than 180 days in the last 12 months. A pilot program is created to notify immigrants that their visas are about to expire.

CHECKER PLAYERS

2seaoat

There have been NO substantive changes on how CRIMINALS are processed and the problems remain concerning funding.......which again had the Senate bill been law, this guy would be gone........but I am a liar and the two of you are CHECKER PLAYERS

2seaoat

Oh, for the checker players, the Senate bill passed by 68-32.....a huge bipartisan success......but NO.....the house is filled with hateful Dixiecrat checker players, and an incident like this could have been totally resolved, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO! The checker players want to blame President Obama, when not ONE change has been made to criminal deportations other than the obvious underfunding which was HUGELY addressed by the Senate.

So I am a liar......I guess if folks have total comprehension problems....yep.....your right the queen cannot do that move unless it is jumping over a checker......too funny.

Why do you leftist dixiecrats need to be constantly reminded of current events and history?

Why do you leftist dixiecrats need to be constantly reminded of current events and history?

Now you should follow the advice of Lincoln and keep your mouth shut, and just whimper away with total defeat. You post a Wiki article on the Supreme court decision on the state of Arizona enforcing federal law which Congress authorized the Immigration folks to do......,which of course the Supreme Court affirmed, and think that goes to the lack of funding for immigration criminal deportation......again for the very slow.....Nothing has changed on the criminal deportation of immigrants.....nothing.....and pasting a wiki article confirms that you may indeed be a shallow drink. I know better, but the last few months I have seen incredibly ignorant arguments which are characterized by using the world leftist or progressives......The Senate bill addressed this issue in a bipartisan vote in the senate. EVERYBODY agrees that these criminals should be out of this country as fast as possible , and the senate bill affirmed that...........however, your wiki paste has nothing to do with the funding of the proper function of Immigration enforcement at the federal level, and using the logic of Jan Brewer who lost the case at the Supreme Court suggests that maybe two people should have remained silent.

I won't waste any time on you... your self-delusion and denying the agenda are none of my business. Enjoy comrade.

Waste time....how much time does it take to google and post totally unreliable and non relevant links to a simple issue. The most recent link is the same argument which has been made for thirty years that Immigration has not been enforcing the law or slowing the process down. Now 15 years ago when the Chamber of Commerce was doing everything in their power to not interfere with illegals in the work place.....where was your political compass.....of course not....you did not want to waste time and actually understand the issues. A political disgruntled attack (AGAIN) on this administration does NOT address the attempts of this administration and the Senate bill to get CRIMINALS out of America.....now this disgruntled employee and the politics he supports thinks a child who was brought to this country and knows no other should be deported, and that the church, community groups, and immigrant groups who cry out that this is unjust get executive orders to stop this injustice, and you think the historical slow process addressed in the senate bill concerning criminal deportations is Obama's fault.....first you have no real world experience with deportations....you are clueless....again you are talking to OZ behind the curtain.....and can tell you with real world experience the article you pasted is totally and completely irrelevant....this problem has existed for twenty years and that is exactly why the bipartisan support in the Senate bill was so strong......but hey.....xenophobic hate is what keeps the dixiecrats relevant and the Oligarch which pays the freight.....so please in you utter lack of comprehension....please do not take more than two minutes to cut and paste things you do not comprehend.

2seaoat

Just to help you a bit.....only took five seconds.

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/07/us/more-deportations-follow-minor-crimes-data-shows.html?_r=0

Understand an issue before cutting and pasting:

The records show the largest increases were in deportations involving illegal immigrants whose most serious offense was listed as a traffic violation, including driving under the influence. Those cases more than quadrupled from 43,000 during the last five years of President George W. Bush’s administration to 193,000 during the five years Mr. Obama has been in office. In that same period, removals related to convictions for entering or re-entering the country illegally tripled under Mr. Obama to more than 188,000.

The data also reflect the Obama administration’s decision to charge immigration violators who previously would have been removed without formal charges. In the final year of the Bush administration, more than a quarter of those caught in the United States with no criminal record were returned to their native countries without charges. In 2013, charges were filed in more than 90 percent of those types of cases, which prohibit immigrants from returning for at least five years and exposing those caught returning illegally to prison time.

Btw... Seagoat and I have gone around and around over his claims about deportations and illegals policies.

He chooses to ignore even obama distancing himself in front of a hispanic group while campaigning last time.

“The statistics are actually a little deceptive because what we’ve been doing is, with the stronger border enforcement, we’ve been apprehending folks at the borders and sending them back. That is counted as a deportation, even though they may have only been held for a day or 48 hours, sent back —that’s counted as a deportation. Prior to this new method those were counted through ICE... who handle every aspect of that encounter."

Here are the real number breakdowns if anyone has missed those convos... or been purposefully fooling themselves too.

Who is surprised to find that our favorite troll 2seaoat finds the brutal murder of a innocent young store clerk is funny.  Disgusting.

2seaoat thinks it's just wonderful that an illegal alien, with a conviction in 2012 for burglary, who, for whatever reason was not deported at that time.

Keep up the good work 2seaoat.

No reason to take the time PkrBum. 2seaoat and is comrades don't consider facts, they will defend this corrupt administration. If it means defending an illegal alien, who is also a convicted felon against the murder, well...such is life.

The criminal act is not funny. Only senility would reach that conclusion. What is funny is the fact that Obama has deported more criminals than prior administrations, and he supported the senate bill which would have funded and got criminals out of this country. It has been a problem for thirty years without sufficient funding to keep them in jail and quickly deport them. The passed senate bill addressed the same. However, Mr. Markle you do remain a hoot.

Why do you continue to lie when you know that we know that you're lying? Obama has inhibited detention and deportation.

Frankly, you are too ignorant on how immigration works with criminals to even understand what is lie. Please show me anywhere you can actually grasp facts where the Obama administration has inhibited CRIMINAL detention and deportation. He has done just the opposite. He has taken things as minor as traffic infractions and deported people. I have posted the numbers. You fail to be able to conceptualize the difference between a person who has questions about their immigration status, and somebody convicted with a misdemeanor or felony......duh.....double duh.......and are we there yet mom.

http://cis.org/ICE-Illegal-Immigrant-Deportations

Pk's post confirming that he is an idiot of the highest order.....NOTHING in the post refers to deportations and detaining CRIMINALS.

Go to my link where it is clear that President Obama has deported almost three times as many criminals than the Bush administration.......what utter idiocy. A person who has over stayed their visa or has no legal status does not match this criminal who had a conviction and was let out on Bond. Why was he let out on bond.....the same reason for thirty years people have been complaining.....funding.....and the senate bill would have kept him in jail, and he would have been deported......idiocy.
