A Swedish sociology professor has nominated Edward Snowden for the Nobel Peace Prize. He says the NSA whistleblower could help “save the prize from the disrepute incurred by the hasty and ill-conceived decision” to give the 2009 award to Barack Obama.

I thought this was a joke until I googled it. And then I not only learned it was true but Julian Assange and Bradley Manning were nominated for it in the past too.

I think it would be the funniest and most ironic thing that could ever happen if both Obama and Snowden got the Nobel Peace Prize.
That would be like giving it to both Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth. lol
