Time and again I've written in this forum that American law enforcement, with its brutality, violence, and militarization, has chosen to make war on the American people.  They've made all of us their enemy.

The murder of the Texas cop is a tragedy, in every way.  But, considering the war the police have chosen to make on the rest of us, nobody should be surprised when a cop is gunned down.  Reality.

Right...that makes total sense. The relationship between Obama and Netanyahu has been barely cordial. The relationship of Netanyahu and George W Bush is a different story. Netanyahu's right-wing Judaism melded perfectly with Bush's right-wing Christofascism.

If a foreign standing army invaded your neighborhood, and began shooting unarmed citizens, do you think you would stand by and be abused. Would you not first try to protest the treatment of folks in your neighborhood. Would you not cry out for justice when innocent citizens were gunned down by this army who was completely alienated from the community? I think American would not stand by and be abused. They would protest, but at some point Americans are going to use violence against that standing Army.

We can expel that foreign standing Army in this nation which our forefathers warned us about. We can train and get folks who are part of the community and recognize the rights of every American citizen. However, in the meantime, do not be surprised by what will be coming. We reap what we sow. Sadly, two wrongs never make a right and killing innocents is inexcusable.

If you think ghandi and non violence freed India form colonial rule, you would have to ignore the violence which accompanied the same. There will always be those who seek change through non violence, and there will always be those who seek change with violence. If you think John Brown was an aberration, you just do not understand reality or history. The non violent protest against killing of citizens will also have a violent component. The underlying injustice does not determine the choice of methods to deal with that injustice. However, until the injustice is addressed, I can guarantee you that I am not making excuses, but telling you with certainty violence will continue in both directions until the underlying injustice is perceived to have been addressed. Innocents sadly die, and two wrongs never make a right.

Go ahead and laugh. But right now it looks like Trump or Sanders is going to be the next president -- and either one promises to end corporate control of our government through campaign financing. And that makes me laugh, truly laugh out loud.
