Our citizens no longer trust their government, the military or the police.

Our infrastructure is crumbling -- bridges, tunnels, roads, water distribution, etc.

Our military's suicide rates are horrific.

Our vets wait years for medical treatment.

Our middle class has been decimated and the lists of our poor rise everyday, while the rich get richer and richer and richer and richer ....

College is unaffordable.

Our security agencies spy on everything we do, and then lie about doing it when they're before congress.

Racism is rampant from coast to coast.

Wall Street's lobbyists continue to recruit our elected leaders.

Corporations pour billions into campaign financing in order to control our laws and regulations.

Our foreign policies fail and fail and fail and fail -- Iraq is in shambles, Afghanistan is all but certain to be owned entirely by the Taliban as soon as we pull out. Pakistan's stability is questionable -- and they have nukes that could fall into Jihadist hands.

Our drug wars are as successful as our nation-building overseas.

We pay much much more for healthcare, and get less quality results than most industrialized countries -- we're 37th when rated.

Our cockamamie two party system has produced a totally dysfunctional government for several years.

Our legal system fails to protect the citizenry against murderous cops.

If you Love the Way our Country is today

Then be sure to vote for Clinton or Bush!

Wordslinger, do you see anyone on the horizon that can win and make the changes you desire?

It's a big machine we are up against no matter one's leanings politically/socially.

My favorites, of course, are Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. Both of these straight talkers will tear Wall Street a new anus, and are very bad news for the MIC.

On the republican side, at this point only Rand Paul strikes me as interesting.

Frankly, I think Liz can take Hillary once the campaign gets going for real. Warren connects with the poor and the middle class -- Hillary doesn't.

You know Warren is a millionaire too................

I'm open to looking at all candidates based on their foreign policy, homeland issues with security, economics, and building business/jobs. I'm tired of being manipulated as voter. The Republicans dropped the ball in both the 2008 an the 2012 elections.

I don't want to hear that it is time to put a woman in office. I don't want to heart about a war on women. I want the best candidate for the job. Period.

He has been blocked on raising the tax rate on the top percentages in this country, blocked on the minimum wage, blocked on ending subsidies, but eventually his ideas will win the day.....good ideas always do. Income inequality starts and ends with proper revenue generated to pay our debt, and investment in American workers. Ideas matter, even if today we cannot get through the roadblock.....it will crumble in time.
