You should probably watch the video. He clearly put his hands up once the guy came up from behind and applied the choke hold.
Or...were those gang signs?

I was playing in a public casino and the man in the 10 seat was a stranger, yet he felt comfortable enough to say the N word where I could hear it.....sorry you run away from the racism, but you are part of the power structure which has been slow to change. When did Pensacola hire its first black firefighter? Organizations and people do not change overnight, and the stain remains.

How can we expect institutional racism to stop if some of the folks still on the force were around when a black man could not even apply.

I will get off my high horse when I do not see politicians in PA admitting that voter ID is about winning the state for Romney. I will get off my high horse when the hateful Dixiecrats and the southern plan is eliminated from American politics. People just cannot stand being reminded of the reality which they deny as they fully think that dog whistle is fooling anybody. I will get off my high horse when the war on drugs is over and police departments are reduced by a third. I will get off my high horse when our jails are empty of non violent drug offenders. Until then my horse and I feel very comfortable calling out societal racism.

The cop didn't have to choose to put the suspect in a choke hold. But why not, if the suspect dies no Grand Jury is ever going to indict a cop.
If they won't punish bad cops ... we'll have to. If a few cops get gunned down, maybe the legal system will figure out how to solve the problem!

So the fuck what?
Just because you wear a badge doesn't mean you're not a criminal.

Touchy touchy.....there have been more than a few good cops gunned down by criminals.
Don't resist.
