wonder who Gov Christie will appoint....

Looks like Governor Christie has chosen to have a special election, instead of just outright appointing a Republican to fill the seat. Republicans are now mad at Christie.

Must have been a decent move by Christie because both Dems and Republicans are ticked off....The Dems wanted a Dem selected and the Republicans wanted a Republican....Question....has this been done this way in the past or have governors simply mabe the appointment?....
