There's a lot of sad truth to be found at this link.
That reporter tends to be more right-wing, and still recognizes Trump as the poison he is.
He finished with, "Some will cheer the decline of America. But I think we'll miss it when it's gone."
It's not surprising me to see countries like Russia cheering our decline. It is, however, dismaying to see so many Republicans cheering along with our enemies... all just because one of theirs is in charge. They aren't looking past that and are just rah-rah'ing any damage done to American values, just because boy does it piss off the liberals. Yeah, it does... but it should piss conservatives off, too. This is not all a Republican/Democrat thing... it's an American thing. We're abdicating leadership of the free world to others. We're blocking ourselves out of trade and cheating ourselves... all for one man's mentally illness: vanity.
I get it that we're a divided country when it comes to politics, I'm on board with that, too, but there comes a point where patriotism should override partisanship. A few, like Lindsay Graham and John McCain, realize this, but from what I'm seeing, we still haven't reached that point yet for far too many. History will not look back kindly on those who supported this man.

Uhlmann said Trump had shown “no desire and no capacity to lead the world” and was himself “the biggest threat to the values of the west”.
“He was an uneasy, lonely, awkward figure at this gathering and you got the strong sense that some of the leaders are trying to find the best way to work around him,” Uhlmann said.
“Where was the G20 statement condemning North Korea which would have put pressure on China and Russia? Other leaders expected it, they were prepared to back it, but it never came.”
Uhlmann said Trump was obsessed with “burnishing his celebrity” and had “diminished” his own nation to the benefit of Russia and China.
“We learned that Donald Trump has pressed fast-forward on the decline of the United States as a global leader. He managed to isolate his nation, to confuse and alienate his allies and to diminish America.
“[He is] a man who barks out bile in 140 characters, who wastes his precious days as president at war with the west’s institutions like the judiciary, independent government agencies and the free press.”
