It is amazing that he did not have a public hearing. I guess an election was not going to be influenced by the same.

I hear you, but Comey is, after all, scheduled to participate in what I understand to be an unprecedented public meeting with the Congressional investigators on Monday, 3/20. I hope the meeting won't prove to have been much ado about nothing, such as if he clams up on too many questions/issues. Haven't looked up the time yet but, presuming it's broadcast, plan to be watching if at all possible.
