People have already voted in this election, and our local SOE is just now getting around to sending out sample ballots. I smell a rat.

We haven't received sample ballots, and don't expect to until maybe ten days or two weeks before the election (i.e., early next week), based on past experience.  Don't know if this is right or not but it seems that's the way it is.

I noticed that some people had already voted by mail and I still hadn't received my sample ballot...so I went to the SOE website and reviewed it. The SOE's own website says approximately 30 days prior. They seem to be a little late! I will vote early on Monday and be done.
