Too much politics and red tape but Daniel Webster would make an extraordinary House Speaker.
I knew he very well when he was the House Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives years ago. A fine man from the Orlando area. I was seeing his chief aid here in Tallahassee and frequented his office and worked with him on several bills related to private property rights. I also had the pleasure of socializing a number of times with him and his wife and several other events here and in Orlando.
