I can see the politics threads filling up with a lot of stuff, whereas some people (me!) would prefer to discuss local stuff, and not be distracted by the National political discussions. So just a thought!

Honestly, keep it together. If the forum becomes popular enough, then separate it. As is, it's just going to detract.

Good call. If things actually pick up and it appears the forum will survive, I will go back and re-add the separate section for local politics.
