WBFF apologizes for misleading edit on videotape of protest chant

WBFF (Fox45) apologized Monday night online and on-air for misleadingly editing and airing a video Sunday of a protest march in Washington to make it seem as if protesters were chanting “kill a cop.”

What the marchers were actually chanting in response to the lead of a Baltimore woman, Tawanda Jones, was “We won’t stop. We can’t stop ‘til killer cops are in cell blocks.”

That’s a very different meaning and representation of what Jones and the marchers were saying.

Jones appeared on the 5:30 p.m. Fox45 news, where anchorman Jeff Barnd apologized to her on behalf of the station..."

Totally different video and audio. They may be talking about a video but not the one shown first.

If the agents of a state become exempt from justice, it is entirely probable that people will be angry and want justice. If somebody thinks you can have justice by killing police officers, they are mistaken, but the anger and reaction to the perception that police are exempt from prosecution is very real and growing. Sadly, more innocents will die on both sides of this issue, and until the issue is addressed and communities invest in training, the injustice will continue. Shooting two police officers dead is not justice.

This kind of thing really helps! Absolutely sickening!

:

Michael Brown learned a lesson about a messin'
With a badass policeman
And he's bad, bad Michael Brown
Baddest thug in the whole damn town
Badder than old King Kong
Meaner than a junkyard dog

Two men took to fightin'
And Michael punched in through the door
And Michael looked like some old Swiss cheese
His brain was splattered on the floor

And he's dead, dead Michael Brown
Deadest man in the whole damn town
His whole life's long gone
Deader than a roadkill dog

Not only is training of officers important but...
You need to add...individuals are morally responsible for the consequences of their actions.

Parental responsibility is essential in the development of moral character. Our society is government by rules and laws.

My only Christmas wish this year is that zombie Jim Croce should rise from his grave and bitchslap the snot out of that entire group of neanderthal assholes.

Please, please, Santa ....

Sal wrote:It should also be noted that the video of the protestors chanting "dead cops" is NOT from Al Sharpton's march.

The video is actually of a spontaneous protest in Manhattan the following night.

FAUX News and the rightwing media has tried to conflate the two in an effort to smear Sharpton.

Sharpton and the families of Eric Garner and Michael Brown have called for non-violent protests and publicly condemned any retaliatory violence.

If you believe Al Sharpton has EVER preached for peace and calm between the races, you really do swallow everything put out by the Kool Aide producers.

As you well know, NO ONE can possible smear AL SHARPTON, he does it all by himself.

Nobody has ever believed that was his mission. His mission was to FIGHT racial discrimination wherever he has found it. He is far from perfect, but if you think his mission was to sing Kumbya it was not. He has a very specific purpose and it is not to be nice.

Yeah, Al Sharpton has a VERY specific purpose. Get in front of a camera, promote himself and advance racial hatred. Without that, he's out of a job.

Which came first.....the KKK or Al Sharpton? It is a job that seems to anger those people who think that racial discrimination against people of color magically has been cured.....with the same logic of separate but equal.

Obviously the KKK.  They were, as you know well, started as a wing of the Democrat Party.  Until his recent passing, on of their most famous recruiters continued to serve the Democrats in Congress.

As you know, since semi-retired President Obama took office, race relations have become worse. Combine that with the fact that the radical leader Al Sharpton has visited the White House over 90 times.

You don't really care though, you just want to whine and wail.

All the racists have been card-carrying members of the GOP since about 1966. You really should update yourself, Markle. You're looking more and more foolish.
