We eat Papa Johns when we get a chain pizza--a new store opened about 1.5 miles from our house. Here in Pensacola, our fave pizza is from Sky's Pizza over on Davis Highway. I also like Mellow Mushroom Pizza a lot.
I occasionally eat Hungry Howies Pizza, but I dislike Pizza Hut--really junk pizza.

The worse Papa John's pizza we had was in Gulf Breeze. There should be a law what you can call pizza.

This is the guy who made a big deal about how he couldn't afford to run his business if he had to cover his employees with health insurance. In the realm of pizza, Papa John's is terrible. I like pizza from New Yorker Deli. I like my own homemade. I like Ozone...but especially because they held an art opening for a good friend.

Can't recall ever having any of the chain pizzas.
I do call ahead and will take out Barnaby's Pizza here in Tallahassee. Been here since the early 70's.

In the Tampa area, it's Cappy's.
But, the joint in the strip mall down the road is not bad.

How desperate does a pizza lover have to be to walk into a chain restaurant? Hell the advancements in frozen pizza make any rational choice of going to Papa Johns evaporate. I made the mistake once, but to pay for those NFL commercials.......there are some folks in America who pay for their pizzas. To me that is scarier than Ebola.
