Does President Barack Hussein Obama know? Or is he so insulated and arrogant he doesn't know what deep s*** he is in?

He was actually convinced by SOMEONE that the trade of a deserter, for five of the most violent, ruthless killers in the world was a good idea. Why else would he have an announcement in the Rose Garden? The vast majority of Americans believe this will lead to more American civilian deaths.

The VA catastrophe is getting worse by the day.

With Benghazi, the truth is finally starting to leak out. Rep. Trey Gowdy is a skilled 16 year prosecutor. Every sentence each Republican asks must end in a question mark.

No answers or responsibility for the IRS Scandal.

Nothing and no answers for the nearly forgotten AP scandal.

The NSA scandal being shoved under the bus.

Fast and Furious, who cares if at least one Federal Agent was killed while dozens of Mexican citizens were killed?

And yet, if anyone dares criticize this administration, there is NOTHING the administration did wrong...the accuser is a RACIST.

Rep. Buck McKeon displayed the probing intellect this week that we expect from a chairman of the House Armed Services Committee.

Commenting on Fox News Channel about the prisoner swap with the Taliban that sprung U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the California Republican explained why he plans to hold hearings on the matter. “It really is kind of ironic, because this is kind of playing out much like Benghazi,” he said, “where they kind of do or don’t do something, and uh, and then kind of come up with a story afterward of why they did or didn’t do something. This is really mind-boggling.”

So the prisoner exchange in Afghanistan is “much like” the 2012 attacks on U.S. facilities in Libya because, in both cases, the administration did or didn’t do something and then later gave an account of why it did or didn’t do that something. Scandalous.

And this is just the beginning of the uncanny similarities. Both events happened — you’re not going to believe this — under President Obama! And in both instances, one of the people involved was — yes, you guessed it — Susan Rice! Don’t forget that Bergdahl and Benghazi both begin with the letter “B,” and although Afghanistan is in Asia and Libya is in Africa, both continents begin with the letter “A.”

Now comes word that Hillary Rodham Clinton, blamed for Benghazi, was also behind Bergdahl’s swap, which occurred 16 months after she left office. The conservative publication Human Events reports that “Benghazi Clinton has now become directly involved” in the Bergdahl affair. How does Human Events know this? Well, because “Jake Tapper of CNN wonders if Obama was briefing her,” the outlet reported.

Voilà! Clinton is “directly involved” in the Taliban exchange — because Jake Tapper wondered about it. Actually, Tapper tells me, he wondered no such thing, and the human events link provides no evidence. But, by way of confirmation, Fox’s Catherine Herridge also found it “noteworthy” that Bergdahl’s release came just as the Benghazi excerpts from Clinton’s new book had come out.

A bit of idle speculation was all Obama’s critics (particularly those at Fox) needed to fire up the Benghazi scandal machine.

When he made this decision,  one,  he probably hadn't been informed enough about all the specific circumstances surrounding Bergdahl (the probable desertion),  and two,  he was convinced that since the war is winding down the five taliban "generals" would not likely try to to get revenge for their imprisonment.
I don't think he had any idea he would be facing the round-the-clock media and political blowback resulting from this.
He thought he could arrange for the return of a POW without much risk involved in doing so.

It will take some time to see how this all plays out.  Actually the amount of time it would take those released prisoners to get back into the fight if they choose to do so.  
If the five released prisoners have turned into choirboys,  this will eventually blow over when Justin Bieber gets arrested again and the media has something different to obsess on.
BUT,  if one or more of the five goes back to his old ways and causes harm to Americans,  Obama will be fucked.
Time will tell.
Or if Bergdahl is proven to have deserted and become a muslim sympathizer, that could fuck up Obama too.  And after seeing Bergdahl's father talking in Pashtu and praising Allah in front of Obama,  and after seeing his fellow platoon members say "everybody who was there knows when he deserted he was seeking out the Taliban", I don't see how we can rule out that possibility.
Frankly,  the whole thing is pretty bizarre.

Then President Barack Hussein Obama is even more inept than anyone imagined. There was a complete CIA report about Bergdahl in 2010. There were complete reports as to his having deserted. Do you REALLY swallow that swill?

This failed administration is rolling downhill fast. Even faster than I had imagined possible at this stage. He seems to intentionally be doing things to sabotage our country.

Do you believe that releasing five of the more violent, ruthless terrorists in the world increases the confidence of our friends in the world?

He is the commander in chief. The constitution bestows powers on the same which cannot be taken away by congress or Fox News. The President is yawning on this one, and rolling up his shirt sleeves and fixing the va which is his responsibility.
