Never underestimate the desire of the masses to have some greater power provide a perceived safety or need.

That's the fundamental underpinning of progressivism... the noble cause that allows govt solutions and interventions.

I don't anymore expect the people to recognize that than I expect the govt to voluntarily curb overreach or controls.

That website is unbelievable...all hail Rush Limbaugh. OMG. Gee, I wonder what could be wrong with the voters in West Virginia. Maybe it's because their water is so polluted they can't drink it, and they're tired of hearing the tops blasted off mountains (except on Sunday). Hasn't anyone here read the news...or Elmore Leonard?
