Remember, Neko has been on a ventilator since late December, which means she has been sedated for a very long time. She is most likely undergoing both respiratory therapy and physical therapy. You know how weak you feel after being sick in bed for a few days, imagine that intensified and lasting for 6 weeks. I would expect her to be sent to a rehab facility before she can go home.

Oh my goodness everyone has been sick -I took my turn--took around 6 days but im better , mine was throat it just closed up , couldn't hardly breathe at all . I didn't go to doc-just kept fighting the stuff ---I think I wiped the shelves at the pharmacy --But I think what helped -This lady I sold mobile home to well she said take garlic pills -pop open and let it drain in your throat --heehee I couldn't even talk but it worked around the 4 day I did 3 at night that way then 3 the next night 3 the next night --after the first 3 though I woke up in bed and was wet all over , just drenched --But the next morning swelling went down some -each day I did this it went down more -now today say 7 days later im good to go --scared me so now im freaking out so I don't get sick again im going to keep taking garlic they say its a natural antibiotic--and im going to look for a good vitamin to start taking daily --someone mentioned fish oil- Surprised ---so anyway im trying to figure out what I can take on daily basis to help fight stuff off , I hate pills but after what ive been through im changing I just have to figure out what all your suppose to take say day to day--prayers to all who are still sick  Wink

I just received this personal note from Neko........I'm stoked!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your prayers. It's been an ordeal. Glad to be alive. I believe in miracles. I'm in a rehab facility now. Getting better, but a long ways to go. They say I will make a full recovery.

I have been communicating with our friend Neko. Her attitude is very positive......even knowing how critical she was and knowing that she was not expected to live.

All I can say.....the power of prayer is amazing. With Neko having lived all over and in Japan for 10+ years......prayers for Neko came from around the world.

I can get her worked up........and honestly she is always diligent with her links which she advocates with sincere beliefs grounded in common sense........but I only post this knowing she is not reading the same......when she is back posting I will simply say she is stubborn.......and my guess is that stubborn streak served her well in this recent health crisis.

I do not believe her to be a moderate though. She will have to defend that title when she gets back though lol
