Just like that, all statewide offices of VA will be staffed by Democrats. It seems that the Republicans scared the pants off of most Virginians, so they voted in the Democrats, who do not seem so scary.

There will be a trickle-down effect in the Virginia House of Delegates, notwithstanding what the article above suggests. Virginians have learned what the rest of the country will soon learn: the tea party cannot govern effectively. Period.
Remember also that the election results of the past two national elections matched the results in VA exactly.
