(WASHINGTON) — "Moving to dismantle former President Barack Obama's legacy on the environment and other issues, House Republicans approved a measure Wednesday that scuttles a regulation aimed at preventing coal mining debris from being dumped into nearby streams.
Lawmakers also voted to rescind a separate rule requiring companies to disclose payments made to foreign governments relating to mining and drilling.

Republicans said the votes were first in a series of actions to reverse years of what they see as excessive government regulation during Obama's presidency. Rules on fracking, guns and federal contracting also are in the cross-hairs as the GOP moves to void a host of regulations finalized during Obama's last months in office..."

Gaetz has introduced a bill to abolish the EPA. If he wants to really save some money they should abolish the DEA.

Duke power has billions of dollars of clean up with sixty minutes doing some great shows on the damage from their holding ponds. It is just the rape of America, and it was not even that hard for the rapist to succeed, it was not somebody slipping a roofie in a drink, it was not with a gun or knife, and the rapist did not even threaten the victim.......just filled the victim with empty promises and lies, and the bystanders who sat on the sidelines and watch the rape happen because they wanted to wait for that perfect hero to save America.......yep the evil was defined. They spent millions to flood the media, blogs and internet forums with propaganda to attack truth and promote special interests, and behind their agenda was the use of fear and racial politics.

Well, they all seem to love Ronald Reagan and he was one of the worst presidents for the environment ever. Everything is about money, including Trump's election in the first place, so watch out for disastrous results.
