More often than not, this has been the attitude of America since Oct 23, 1983. It has fermented in the first Gulf War and now through the GWOT and the recent Paris attacks (Charlie Hebdo in January and just last week). She gets rather vulgar at the end with the language and I am sure you will blush. Folks are fed up and more fed up at Americans like you who would justify the actions of the enemy against the world-Christians especially. You are like Jimmy Carter in his latter years- consoling, cajoling, and falling in lockstep with what wants to end the world as we know it. Sal and Word say that Christians are trying to push the world towards an end of times reckoning. The fact is this, Christians don't have a clue when Jesus returns and only seek to prepare....Muslims and ISIS, they think with their actions it will be tomorrow...and they ARE working their way by deeds into trying to make the world reach a cataclysmic even that brings on their 13th Imam and they don't care how they do it.

What a fool. Nobody was shelling or bombing civilians during the Civil War. Nobody was killing with barrel bombs, or symbolically cutting off folks heads in the American Civil War. You attempt to make the victim the guilty party which is pretty cowardly all by itself.

Dude, warfare at the time was horrific. You won't admit it or anything that doesn't fit Seaoatlogic (pathetic at best). There were over 600k dead....not counting the wounded.

The Civil War was the deadliest war in American history. Altogether, over 600,000 died in the conflict, more than World War I and World War II combined. A soldier was 13 times more likely to die in the Civil War than in the Vietnam War.
One reason why the Civil War was so lethal was the introduction of improved weaponry. Cone-shaped bullets replaced musket balls, and beginning in 1862, smooth-bore muskets were replaced with rifles with grooved barrels, which imparted spin on a bullet and allowed a soldier to hit a target a quarter of a mile away. The new weapons had appeared so suddenly that commanders did not immediately realize that they needed to compensate for the increased range and accuracy of rifles.

The Civil War was the first war in which soldiers used repeating rifles (which could fire several shots without reloading), breechloading arms (which were loaded from behind the barrel instead of through the muzzle), and automated weapons like the Gatling gun. The Civil War also marked the first use by Americans of shrapnel, booby traps, and land mines.

Outdated strategy also contributed to the high number of casualties. Massive frontal assaults and massed formations resulted in large numbers of deaths. In addition, far larger numbers of soldiers were involved in battles than in the past. Obama knows the truth. He knows the Saudis and the Israelis were behind ISIS in Syria. He knows who financed the same. He knows that the Varsity are the same people who financially supported Al Queda and their attacks on our country on 911......the JV team is only a tool for the varsity which clearly the Saudis have primary responsibility to what was going on in the middle east.....right now they are chitting as Shia are kicking asz over the Sunni in Iraq. President Obama could not have been more correct as he has been standing up to the varsity, MIC, and Israel to extract this nation from their repeated attempts to permanently keep us there to support and protect the varsity.......nope the President sent out a clear message with his JV comment, unfortunately some are too slow to understand his meaning.
