Oh baloney.  It's all a matter of whichever one of the two perspectives you have,  seaoat.
Government is bad to you when the republicans are running it.
And bad to markle when the democrats are running it.
You love the government when it's doing what you want.
And markle loves the government when it does what he wants.

There's no doubt the country is dumbed down.  And the dumbing down is close to reaching the point of retardation.
But neither your messiahs nor markle's are going to turn that around because that has nothing to do with who the president is.  It's been dumbing down all through both the Bush and Obama administrations.
That's because both you liberals and you conservatives are incapable of doing anything about it except pay lip service to it.

Not true.

There is something known as good governance, and we can argue all day long about what that looks like.

The modern version of the American "conservative" movement, however, has no interest in governance at all.

This is why you cannot point to a single policy prescript they champion that you can in good conscience support.

It is a movement of angst, destruction, and personality, but certainly not of governance.

A false dilemma, is a logical fallacy which involves presenting two opposing views, options or outcomes in such a way that they seem to be the only possibilities: that is, if one is true, the other must be false, or, more typically, if you do not accept one then the other must be accepted. The reality in most cases is that there are many in-between or other alternative options, not just two mutually exclusive ones.
In other words, there are two ways in which one can commit a false dilemma. First, one can assume that there are only two (or three, though that case is strictly speaking be a “false trilemma”) options when there really are many more. Second, one can take the options to be mutually exclusive when they really are not.
The fallacy is a syllogistic fallacy and a formal fallacy...

You've got the definition down,  tex.  But you're not applying it correctly.

This one is a dilemma allright.  But it's not a "false" dilemma.
Either a democrat or a republican has always won the Presidency going back to 1850.  There are no other options.  If there were then we would have had a President Perot.

One thing Sanders has been able to do is to move Hillary to the left. Whether or not he gets the nomination he has accomplished this. People are talking about the wealth gap, income inequality, the Congress being run by representatives of special interests. Voters need to think about this situation and get educated rather than, as pointed out, following radio personalities' views while ignoring the reality. This has not come about by accident. The 1% has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to yank power from the middle class and ordinary citizens of all persuasions. Let's talk about that.

But you seem to  think disabled children should be hidden in a closet instead of standing on stage.

You really are despicable.

I'm despicable?  Biden lied about his wife's accident and he was caught in the lie.

And according to FT Rick Santorum was using his daughter for sympathy votes. I think that is despicable.

How and why did Biden lie about his wife's accident? This is news to me.

Such a shame the Democrats won't do the same. Thus far, the Democrats don't have an electable candidate. Joe Biden isn't electable but he is respectable.

Oh, thank you for that.

Bernie can win the general election easily. I was at East Bay BBQ in Navarre today after working like a fool to do some painting and repairs on a vacated rental, and I overhead the talk at the bar......a bunch of white older men in their early 70s a few couples in their 60s and a couple of girls in their forties, when folks started talking politics......Well everybody hated President Obama, nobody really liked Hillary, but to the last one of them, they liked Bernie. One guy said I never thought I could vote for a Democrat for President, and never would I vote for somebody who was certainly going to raise my taxes, but that old socialist is going to stop folks from stealing America, and right now I am voting for Bernie.....I was shocked when the two ladies said they were Republicans and they were voting for Bernie because their daughter is facing huge deductibles and has cancer, and they are tired of this country being stolen......I was ready to do back flips......all this talk about Bernie being a McGovern.......well these folks trust that he will go after the bastards stealing this country, and they like the man despite the socialism label......my wife and I left stunned......if the conversation in Navarre Florida is any indication.....we may in fact be entering a political revolution. The Republicans could have possibly beat Hillary.....but Bernie.......he is growing in strength as Americans listen to his message and understand the man cares about them.

Looks like Bush is giving us a courtesy flush. Do we even need to have a general election at this point?

How, specifically, does Bernie Sanders care about people when his goal is to take an additional $2 TRILLION a year FROM THEM in taxes?

You consider that a good plan? How?

Where did you get that ridiculous chart? It doesn't even make sense.

The chart was put out on most of the major internet sites a few weeks ago and then disappeared a short time later.
