We have a modest place in western Kentucky near Barkley Lake and in Lyon County where this horrible incident occurred. My heart truly goes out to the family of this fallen KSP officer but please note . . . . . he (the perp) didn't survive. No surprise at all so welcome to the land of fast women and pretty horses!

If he had compassion for the family, or had deep anger that this tragedy happened, I could understand him lashing out. He uses death for political gain and he has zero concern for the fallen officer or his family by politicizing yet another death for his propaganda purposes. It is a calculated response which sadly go to Mr. Markle's character. I cannot get angry at a man who has become so sad, so rudderless, and without moral framework. My prayers extend to the officer and his family. Maybe I should give an extra one for Mr. Markle because it is obvious I am going to have to handle him a little more gently in discussions as he ages.
