Dear Semi-sane "I know NOSSING!" Markle ... it's a trend that's accelerating faster than you can get a Big Mac at you-know-where.  Your idols at fascist headquarters are starting to sweat.  Deservedly.  And Hillary, Biden and Bernie are all applauding.  Quick, show Hitler's train again, or your latest LOL cartoon ... Yawn ...

Screw Amerika Inc!  Corporate control of our government through campaign financing.

According to ABC News: "The wage increase for fast-food workers in New York will be phased in over three years in New York City and over six years elsewhere in the state. It will apply to some 200,000 employees at large chain restaurants.

Reality. Show us another Nazi photo ... lol

Good... now watch what happens objectively. There are a few test markets now.

Too much too soon. Six years maybe, but three years.....no way, and I am an avid supporter of increases to the minimum wage. A meal in NY is so expensive now, that part will not matter, but doubling wages in three years is a mistake.

This is the problem in America. There is no more moderates. Idiots on the right and idiots on the left.

What percent of people working in New York City earn less than $15.00 an hour today?

What has this to do with fast food workers getting a minimum wage raise to $15 per hour?

It's an entry level job not meant to be made a freakin' career.

I guess you never saw the rank structure that goes up to four star level. It really gets on your nerves that a military man stole a girlfriend years ago.

Higher education in fast food companies? The only career positions are in management. Those jobs are stepping stones while completing their education.

There are thousands of long term employees who work in fast food for less than $9.00 per hour. These are folks who have been there more than three years. Entry level my ass. Let's give American workers a break instead of the corporate bloodsuckers who want it all!

Agree, but 15 bucks is as stupid as 8 bucks and if people do not find the middle we will have what we have now.

What skills are required for $15.00 an hour position?

Why do republicans hate the idea of fast food workers earning a living wage? Why do they resent poor workers getting a raise? It's good to know your enemies!

$15.00 for a fast food worker without an education would be making more money than many trained/educated individuals that do a lot more than ask if you want it "super-sized".

Can you cite some instances of trained/educated individuals working for less than $15 per hour?

What is a living wage and why does someone, with no skills, no experience, no work ethic merit more than their worth?

How many minimum wage workers are the head of a household?

I understand your passionate desire for everyone to share their misery.

It's just more pandering to the weak. Those unwilling to better themselves. The green participation ribbon mentality.

Throughout human history there have been those that are ill prepared... not willing to work hard. Now that is celebrated.

Can you imagine human evolution taking place along these terms? Lol... we would still be in the stone age.

And we certainly won't evolve much being here with this agenda. It's as if people have forgotten the struggle.

We're a bunch of candy assed weaklings these days. We don't know sacrifice or risk. It's a safetynet society.

The west would've never been ours under this mentality. I can't imagine leftists venturing into the unknown.

Shows how little you know about leftists. You should'a been with me on the island of Babeldoub, in Palau. Or at El Nido, in Palawan, Philippine islands, or Aitutaki in the Cook Islands, or Waiheke, in Auckland. Or Fuji Yoshida at the foot of Mt. Fuji, or the Bob Marshal Forest, in Montana on the Continental Divide. You gutless wonder conservatives are afraid of trying Thai food, lol.

It's clear none of you conservatives here have ever worked the kitchen at Chic Filet, or been part of the clean-up crew at Hardy's ... you people are consistent in expressing your hatred for the less fortunate folks whose only possibility of a long term job is McDonalds. Thank you for reminding me why I dislike and disrespect y'all.

The point is, fast food work is not a career type of employment. Most part-time positions in this area is filled by students, the elderly, and some special needs people.

Fast food workers surely don't deserve to make more than the entry level military workers who risk their lives.
