How many of those black leaders implore men and women to get married BEFORE having children learn to raise them to be good citizens?

Bill Cosby comes to mind.....the racist around here used to regularly talk about the truth of Bill Cosby.....the hypocrisy is too sweet to comment.

And, as you well know, he was abused, beaten up and called Oreo and every other name.

How about these fine folks?

President Barack Hussein Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Eric Holder, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Rev. Al Sharpton, Minister Louis Farrakhan, Father Pflager, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr., Rev. Jesse Jackson, Jr., King Samir Shabazz, Van Jones, Charlie Rangel, Barbara Boxer, Maxine Waters, Sheila Jackson Lee, Andre Carson, Shirley Sherrod….

I've missed you guys! I had forgotten how much fun discussing politics in this particular forum can be.  Very Happy

Bernie Sanders, all the way!   cheers

This is the first time in my entire voting life that I have agreed with every single issue on a candidate's platform. Heck, I loved Bernie before he ever decided to run for Prez!

On the day I heard he was going to run, I whooped so loud the whole neighborhood probably heard me.

Feel the Bern!!!

And he's not a communist. Keep spinning, though! Laughing

You have established you are having conceptual difficulties with nomenclature both in your profession and now with your understanding of political nomenclature. A socialist and communist are two different concepts. Bernie Sanders has NEVER espoused communist doctrine. If you understood Marxist dialectic, you would understand that these concepts are distinct and different.

If the attacks against Bernie are going to be to call him a communist, well yes he could win because that is bone chilling stupid.....like not knowing what a managing broker is. However, the truth is as much as I like Bernie and many of his ideas, he is often simplistic in understanding the complexities of the economy and foreign relations. I think he could be attacked substantively on some of his naive policies. However, calling him a communist, or trying to use the propaganda technique of association to make him something he is not.....well dishonesty has already been established so why would I expect anything different.

He doesn't. He used to make some lucid points. I think we are all getting older since you were posting here, and perhaps none of us are hitting on all cylinders everyday. His decline in my opinion requires a doctor's visit. He confused Iraq and Iran again, yesterday, and I hope he gets a check up. When he is hitting on all cylinders and being honest, he makes good points. Not understanding Marxist dialectic and using socialism/communism when the / is used it can be grammatically or.....it can be a connector of association:

Another use of the slash is to replace the hyphen or en dash to make a clear, strong joint between words or phrases, such as "the Hemingway/Faulkner generation".

the joinder of communism and socialism is incorrect. Bernie Sanders is not a communist.

It's scary how dense you can purposely be. All increasingly authoritarian (progressivism, fascism, socialism) ideologies lead to ultimate authoritarianism. You can call it what you wish... but it is what it is. I'm amazed you wish to enslave humanity.

You're a selfish sob deluded by a false sense of self-importance that thinks he can decide the future for others.

“Marxists have always drawn a distinction, corresponding to the distinction in reality, between Socialism and Communism, Socialism being that period between the seizure of power,by the working-class and the epoch of full Communism. In the period of Socialism, the principle “from each according to his ability,to each according to the quantity and quality of his work” obtains. Only with full Communism, the conditions for which are built in the period of Socialism, will the principle “ from each according to his ability,to each according to his needs” be realised. Lest, however, the “Socialist Standard” should doubt that this has always been the view of true Socialists,I would suggest that the writer of this illiterate piece of nonsense should read Karl Marx’s Critique of the Gotha Programme, where he will find this alleged “corrupted version” fully explained and justified.” –Daily Worker. July 4th,1936.

Bernie Sanders, from what I've read on him so far, is in the same camp with President Obama...a student turned social activist. No job, no business tendencies, only an agenda to spread your wealth - no matter how small or large.

Obviously, you need to read more. Raising the minimum wage, taxing ultra rich corporations who bury their profits overseas, making a college education affordable for everyone, are all part of Bernie's agenda. And there is no question whatever that the middle class is fast disappearing under the lets-award-all-the-bloodsuckers with everything policies currently in force.
Amazingly, even Trump agrees on this point. No doubt Semi-sane Markle is glad to have you on his team .... LOL

Why always the need to place someone on someone's team? Does it make it easier for you to debate if you lump everyone into a similar pile without having to actually discuss? Rolling Eyes I thought better of you, W.

I read the list provided and made a statement based on what I see.

Now, do I think some taxation is needed in order to move ahead in areas such as education? Yes. But what I'd like for him to explain is how he will budget and streamline spending in those areas so that waste is not a part of the equation. The Department of Education wastes tax payer dollars on administrations across the US. So, Bernie, what's the plan? Don't just tell me you will increase taxes and stick it to the rich.

Old song and dance routine that needs much help. More than taxation, what is needed is better fiscal accountability. The money is there...work a budget that uses the money already being collected. Then we'll see if more money is actually needed.
