'Top secret' emails on Clinton server discussed drone program, may reference classified info

WASHINGTON – The two emails on Hillary Rodham Clinton's private server that an auditor deemed "top secret" include a discussion of a news article detailing a U.S. drone operation and a separate conversation that could point back to highly classified material in an improper manner or merely reflect information collected independently, U.S. officials who have reviewed the correspondence told The Associated Press.

The sourcing of the information could have significant political implications as the 2016 presidential campaign heats up. Clinton, the front-runner for the Democratic nomination, agreed this week to turn over to the FBI the private server she used as secretary of state, and Republicans in Congress have seized on the involvement of federal law enforcement as a sign that she was either negligent with the nation's secrets or worse.

On Monday, the inspector general for the 17 spy agencies that make up what is known as the intelligence community told Congress that two of 40 emails in a random sample of the 30,000 emails Clinton gave the State Department for review contained information deemed "Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information," one of the government's highest levels of classification.

The two emails were marked classified after consultations with the CIA, which is where the material originated, officials said.

In other words, it got wiped. That doesn’t mean that the FBI can’t retrieve the data; their forensics work in this area is top-notch. It would take a world-league security expert to beat the FBI’s ability to restore hard drive data — and if they had hired a world-league security expert in the first place, they wouldn’t be in this mess.

Why wipe the hard drive at all? Hillary et al insisted that the e-mail server had no sensitive material on it, and that it was a completely legitimate choice on her part. And yet, after Congress discovered its existence and demanded that Hillary produce the records, she pulled off what she wanted …. and then the hard drive got wiped. That indicates a mens rea for destroying evidence, rather than an indication of having nothing to hide. So much for transparency, eh?

Instead, Hillary’s team is now lawyering up. Politico reports today that Huma Abedin has a team of lawyers on the case as she comes under scrutiny from both Congress and federal judges probing the evasion of FOIA demands during Hillary’s tenure — and Abedin’s unusual financial arrangements at State:

She was joking about email in Iowa last night and seemed confident that as she said this is all about politics......never saw a criminal or person sweating it joking and taunting the Republicans for playing politics.....the only thinking person who believes her email server was a violation of the law is somebody in the Republican Party who is drinking the Kool Aid rather than admitting the Republicans have NOTHING to offer America to improve the country, and have everything to offer the Oligarchy.....Americans get it.

Whether the GOP has something to offer the country that isn't FREE doesn't mean Hillary hasn't violated multiple areas of EO12958...and she has. Hillary is done as a political entity. She might be pardoned by Obama on his last day of office, but it doesn't excuse her violation of federal law. It's time the Clintons be held accountable.

Like Obama's birth certificate which you were convinced was not genuine, this partisan attack of Hillary will pass with her unscathed even though the hearings are being intentionally delayed for political purposes.....but America is too smart for anybody to be fooled that Hillary did anything criminal...she did not....read the statute....intent and lack of authority.......beyond a reasonable doubt......there will be a criminal indictment when they bring green cheese from the moon, and the fools who keep chirping the mantra from Gomer are hysterical.......he cannot wait to question Clinton.....it should be fun, but not for the reasons he thinks.
