It's a moving target what with the storm being factored in. I'm looking to see who the speakers will end up being. Will we know who the real Romney is when it is over? Trying to clear the Etch-a-sketch and start over on the general election.

The WH was purchased in 2008 by Soros fronting the BHO campaign so what is your point? If you haven't complained to your congressman and senator about lack of action on campaign finance reform then don't complain since BOTH sides do the same thing.

Yes, posting cute little cartoons makes it easier when you have no substantive or factual dialogue to contribute. Carry on children.

Yes child, done with your meaningless little tantrum? My 18 month old grandaughter acts more like an adult than you. What a shrieking fool you are! Anything to the right of Che is not liberal enough for you.....that makes you part of the problem not the solution. And you proved my point about you loons not having anything substantive to add to a discussion, thanks for the minor effort but I really don't need any help illustrating what misguided sheeple you are.

does that mean that faux news and the pricks like rush and hannity are an arm of the GOP....?

i realize that extrapolation is not a strong suit for the wingnuts, but come on dude.

Occam's Razor.

Okay, now we've cleared the air and established that once again "Both sides do it". So you want to complain? Here's where you can go and voice your objections to having your candidate dragged through phony made up mud by the opposition.

According to what I'm reading on this site TV and radio stations can't refuse to air ads by the candidate's own organization but they CAN refuse to air false ads by third party groups like the dang super pacs.

If you go to this site, you'll see "Stand by Your Ad" and an ad stations in Ohio refused to run after people protested through this site. I didn't look at the ad but it shows what can be accomplished.
Then click on the FAQ's for answers.

I think this is kind of cool, public action and all that.
The chart at the end of the FAQ's shows how many people use this service.

Exactly. But, you libs get more arms. You already know the usual suspects.

So I just went to that website and clicked on the link to send an email to my local TV/radio stations.
Why don't you all try it too? It couldn't hurt. The media really does respond to public opinion, okay and advertising revenue too but if enough people complained about the false adds which are hurting all the candidates, the third party groups would have to come up with a different angle, maybe talk about real issues with real information?

Wasn't it the Senator Barack Hussein Obama campaign who OUT SPENT BY A TWO TO ONE margin Senator John McCain to buy the Oval Office.

Yes, Obama did out spend M/P. I do think we knew where the money came from and who gave what and how much.
Now there are no limits so people like Sheldon Adelson who now, thanks to the Citizens United case is allowed to give unlimited funds to the so-called non-profit groups (501c3's) and orchestrate elections across the country to suit his goals.
This is different than collecting money from small donors. Sure, Obama also got large sums from different groups in the '08 campaign but even those were limited or capped, weren't they?
Some of the R's money might even be coming from foreign sources, Obama's too for that matter. The problem is we just don't know anymore and that's not a good way to run a campaign.

Sheldon Adelson, the multi-billionaire casino mogul who already spent at least $5 million to help keep Republicans in control of the House next year, reportedly pledged $500,000 to just one House candidate, New Jersey Republican candidate Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.
......
Rabbi Boteach, for his part, lavished praise on Adelson and on the Supreme Court that's been so solicitous of right-wing efforts to buy and sell elections: "I think that Sheldon Adelson will bring democracy to the ninth district of New Jersey. What Citizens United has allowed is a challenger like me to be a real contender against [Rep. Bill] Pascrell."

Good grief where did I say anything about "fairness"? Nowhere is there any mention of "fairness".
The whole idea of this website's creation is to give the public a way of letting their local TV and radio stations know that they don't want them airing political ads that are untruthful.

Untruthful means making stuff up to make their opponent look bad. That's not ethical.
I know, campaigning in an ethical manner is a radical thought.

All this spin and mud turns voters off. They walk away from the TV and throw their arms in the air in disgust and say they're not voting. Maybe that's what the campaigns are trying to do? I doubt it. Surely you are not against truth in advertising?
