Just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you.

I remember an argument we had years ago....probably 2008 or 09. Right in the middle of it..you threw in the Manchurian Wall.....appropo of absolutely nothing, at least nothing I could figure out.

well he hasn't posted since mid night the night before. But that doesn't mean anything, he could have gone off on a road trip or something like bob did.

with that said, I saw where he said that. he thinks his time is near and I do feel strongly that a person knows.

All I can say for seaoat is that he will be missed as an adversary and his long winded hilarious post will be missed. I pray he is in order, at peace with the world and goes easy when the time comes. That's how I want to go, so its the best I can offer in well wishes.

I don't intend to make it easy for him while he is here because he has ask that we don't. Although it is apparent he throws little hints of < uncle> in from time to time.  Wink

Because there were no specifics provided to cause the forum members to believe Mr. Oats is coming to an end . . . . I prefer to believe he is either with his grand children/family in the surroundings he loves or playing poker.
I am so not ready although I understand he is . . .

When the time comes or passes I hope he provided his wife or daughter with his forum password to let everyone know. He probably is off at a poker tournament.

pp, he has consistently said that when 'that' time comes his wife would post on his behalf . . . .

I know exactly what you mean. I don't take this stuff very well. I don't think the forum will ever be the same to me.

Well, it is sad to have to watch someone on their journey to the end. It is the same journey we all are marching towards.

I suppose for y'all who say the forum will not be same when he is gone will be gone, maybe gone over to everyday pcola or another forum, who knows.

Facts are, this forum will die off as we die off because those who stand on the side lines do not have what it takes to take up armor for their beliefs. Their joy is found in watching through the window to see which warrior will be inflicted the wound today. Much like a placing of the bets on the fastest dog or gladiator.

Im not sure how many eulogies a person needs.

I can say and I hope this is true. If seaoat is still alive, and I hope he is. He has given up on this forum. I would not wish to spend my last days on this forum. I would not wish it upon him or anyone to do so, only because I am kind and thoughtful. I hope he is dancing and enjoying the days, nights, laughing with loved ones, smelling the roses, cheating at poker and accidently over dosing on Viagra.  pirat

Cheers to you seaoat, you old asshole. You made your mark!

I dedicate this song to you.
