now, do you people really want to go there and say we don't have inflation? or would you rather hold on to what those who want to to think there is no inflation?

I mean really, everything cost more now and really, incomes have gone down for all the masses...

are you sure there is no inflation, or are you TOLD there is no inflation?

bread, milk, gas, rent, beer, wine, beef, pork, chicken, rice, oh I could go on and on...

and if you disagree that these items and many more have not gone up while our overall income has gone down, then you are too wealthy to notice.

Haven't grocery shopped a lot in over 16 months and did a lot of eating out then.... Eating out is stilll way more expensive

Adding to what Chrissy said real wages are dropping below inflation and since it's a relative relationship it means that inflation is climbing much more than we are being told...relatively.

Once people start actually paying the Obamacare tax this will begin to close the other Jaw Lenin mentioned..

The problem with this nonsense is that inflation targets in a context of declining incomes promises to further reduce the purchasing power of your ever-shrinking pile of dollars. If we throw in food and energy, the situation gets even worse. Americans are getting screwed at both ends (income and prices).

T, yesterday I was watching an interview on C-Span with an economic think tank kind of guy (can't remember precisely) but he was saying that real inflation of 3.5%. Many calls came in questioning the number but that included fuel as well. If true, inflation remains minimal.

Well you kind of have to look at it like you were watching the ceiling go up while floor you are standing on is going down..together you get lower and lower faster and faster.

If inflation goes up 4 and wages drop 3 then you have 4+3=7.

Few care... fewer understand.
