The Corporate monsters that control everything are trading clean water in our aquifers for cheap oil and gas by using the fracturing technique. And why wouldn't they? Its just the poor health of the future generations, who cares about those dummies, its NOW we're talking about.

Unfortunately, yella, too many budgetary decisions these days are made with short term profit in mind with not enough thought to long term consequences. Corporations are in business to make money as the wingers are eager to remind us liberals. They claim we are against making a profit but fail to realize that their policies lead to long term problems such as the great recession that many families may never fully recover from.

We need big-time investment in our infrastructure. That would create many good paying jobs and help the country and the workers. It would also be good for business by creating a better transportation system, water treatment, etc. so everyone wins. Why can't congress agree on that?

To respond to your rhetorical question OS: Substantial and meaningful Investment in our nation's infrastructure would risk allowing the President to rebound from his low polling numbers and then hell would freeze over!

I think the above highlighted remark is unfair. The left is vastly wealthy.

I personally think we can blame the left for this, because back in the day business owners had pride in country mixed with a little patriotism. the left has done a fabulous job of killing patriotism or pride in country. so this is what we are left with. Not to mention the left has regulated and taxed many bussinesss right out of the country, making them feel attacked by the country they live in, that doesn't exactly breed a desire to do whats bst for the country.

I am against fracking as Z knows and most here should know. guess that makes me a lefty some would say lol

I can tell you Obuma is not against fracking, he is for it.
