Shemane Ann Nugent, wife of musician, gun rights advocate and all-around wingnut Ted Nugent, was arrested this morning at DFW airport when a handgun was found in her carry-on luggage.
David Finn, Nugent's lawyer, told the Dallas Morning News that the incident was an “honest mistake,” and a "very embarrassed" Nugent “completely forgot or never knew the weapon was in her bag," because the Nugents are the kind of people who keep a gun in their bags and forget that they're even there.
