PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Military veterans are upset after the annual Camp Lejeune fireworks show for military members and their families was cut.


What makes it even worse: A Pittsburgh area company offered to do the show for free, but the government said, thanks, but no thanks.


The military says the show meant for more than 47-thousand Marines and Sailors was cancelled due to federal cutbacks.

     Waiting for 'flawedtexan' to somehow link and blame this on President Bush and waiting for him to pay for treason...Remember when democrats went out of their minds when the governement was going to shut down during the Bush Administration due to budget battles?....School lunch programs were going to have kids starving...the elderly and disabled wouldn't receive their checks etc.,...and yet they seem willing to allow this furlough crap to continue and as pointed out wanting to inflict pain to make a point....

The cutbacks due to the sequester are the fault of the incompetents sent to Congress. These incompetents call themselves the Tea Baggers. (at least they did at first until they found out what it really meant) The Tea Baggers show they can take any routine legislation and turn it into a giant clusterfuck every chance they can. The Tea Baggers wanted the sequestration, so blame them. Informed people including The President did not want the sequestration. Your blame should lie with the incompetents you so proudly sent to Congress, genius.
