Sad. No reports on "attendance" numbers. Of course anytime there is a sellout game, they boast its a sellout game. The naysayers were right, Lose game after game and watch the attendance levels fall.

Sad.

I listened to the game on the radio and I thought they said it was 4, 200 or something like that. But then I dont used the Studerogly method of determining attendance so I could be off by a few 1,000..

Tweedle dee and tweedle dumb......they can't count......they can't stop those folks voting with their feet......win or lose........family fun is defying their limits of perception......while the folks in MS will spend twice as much to build a stadium on land owned by a Casino......the folks look for something to whine about.....but each day the people vote......and guess who is sitting outside......looking in.........

"guess who is sitting outside......looking in"

The taxpaying citizens of Pensacola?

The Community Maritime Park Associates board will need a $400,000 subsidy from city taxpayers to stay afloat, something that would mark a major change in direction from the original vision for the park.

To get the attendance figures for each game, I go to this site:

http://www.milb.com/index.jsp

Click on "Stats" from the header menu, then from the drop down menu, click "Southern League". Then a menu will appear on the left side of the screen, click on "Attendance" and a table will pop up giving you the figures for the latest game as well as average attendance for the year.

Regions field is brand new this year as Birmingham in conjunction with railroad park are revitalizing downtown Birmingham, and firing up the fan base. The Chicago White Sox are a great organization, and this new larger park will give Pensacola a run for their money this year.......good things for Birmingham and Pensacola as minor league baseball has solid attendance figures......five thousand people enjoying the park.....it does not get much better.

The casino in MS will use the stadium as a tax write off......
