The cover up continues....for now. SRDH though, but this stuff is sticky enough that the people at the top are never going to be completely isolated. Didn't the buck stop with Hillary and didn't the COWH hire her?

I won't rely on just this report... but a simple google search of this whole topic shows the bias.

as it has from the beginning.

Yep.

Almost everything else has been distractions with the usual smoke and mirrors.

Wonder who'll be held accountable.

They will probably blame the two seals that did their job and went above and beyond and gave their final breath. That's what politicians do...as much as they spin they should all be screwed into the ground by now...After all they decorated all the men of the USS LIBERTY and then threatened the crew with death if they told what happened....

Nobody... as we saw in fast n furious... the obfuscation goes to the top executive privilege. Where was obama?

He either rolled over and went back to sleep... or he sat on his thumb in an observation room like w bin ladin.

lol... you're a silly partisan lackey. You have no interest into whether govt is accountable? What did you vote for?

You're a full rung below hack.

You're a full rung below hack.

And, you're a sophomoric, glibertarian asshat with a simplistic, axiomatic world-view.

You bore me.

I have to expend an undue amount of energy to even respond to your pablum.

Then stop parroting the leftist rags. Do you have no desire to question govt? How much more simplistic can pablum be?

What's even more outrageous is that absolutely no one is discussing the fact that it was the House Republicans who cut $300 million from the Obama administration's US embassy security budget not long before the embassy attack in Benghazi took place. Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), who is one of the Republicans bravely leading the Benghazi charge, didn't seem too concerned about the embassy in Libya last year when he made the following statement on CNN in an interview with Soledad O'Brien.

O'BRIEN: Is it true that you voted to cut the funding for embassy security?

CHAFFETZ: Absolutely. Look, we have to make priorities and choices in this country. We have - think about this - 15,000 contractors in Iraq. We have more than 6,000 contractors, private army there for President Obama in Baghdad.

And we're talking about can we get two dozen or so people into Libya to help protect our forces? When you're in tough economic times, you have to make difficult choices how to prioritize this.

As Washington Post's Dana Milbank wrote:

For fiscal 2013, the GOP-controlled House proposed spending $1.934 billion for the State Department's Worldwide Security Protection program — well below the $2.15 billion requested by the Obama administration. House Republicans cut the administration's request for embassy security funding by $128 million in fiscal 2011 and $331 million in fiscal 2012. ...Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that Republicans' proposed cuts to her department would be "detrimental to America's national security" — a charge Republicans rejected.

Do you have no idea as to how appropriations work? That might help explain why the govt has been allowed to supersize.

How do you feel about cutting security right before 9/11 after a few attacks and opposed to requests after we armed and bombed a country that did us no harm and all without the approval of us or our almighty govt?

Good? alrighty then.

I think this whole thing is silly. It is silly because what it boils down to is Susan Rice's comments on that Sunday morning talk show schedule. I listened to her comments after the president spoke. They seemed to contradict the President, and they proved to be mostly wrong. She claims she took her talking points from a CIA memo. We need to know how that memo was compiled. All the rest of the whistle blower testimony is simply telling the public once more that the information in the CIA memo was wrong.

The only question is did someone from the administration have input on the CIA memo.......the rest is simply politics, and scapegoats. The idea that you are going to not have a "what if" response to the attack is silly, however I have seen no smoking gun on the Rice matter. She has vehemently said she and she alone spoke off that memo........this goes nowhere until she says something different.
