Why is it an issue now, but was NOT an issue when then Senator Barack Hussein Obama intentionally circumvented campaign finance law by refusing matching funds allowing him to outspend Senator John McCain by a margin of two to one?
As you know, Senator McCain spent $360 MILLION while President Obama spent over $740 MILLION to buy the Oval Office.

NB, I know DC is the same old same old over and over with Democrats trying for finance reform and Republicans voting to block it so they can continue to pass laws to suit their sugar daddies but how old is this article? All the names I looked up, Shays, Hastert, Meehan aren't even in office any more.
That's what's happened to the R party and even some of the D's. Any of the moderate folks get primaried or voted out in the general.

Maybe you could refresh my memory. Wasn't it the MCCAIN/FEINGOLD
campaign finance reform law which was partially overturned by the
Supreme Court?

Obama received a large portion of his campaign contributions from GRASSROOTS DONORS. McCain didn't have that kind of appeal with the general public. The Republican Party is dying. Ask Pat Robertson.

Really? Why then are Republicans raising so much more money than President Barack Hussein Obama.
President Obama has had over 100 fund raisers in the past six months. That far exceeds any other president in history at this point in their first term. More than ten rounds of golf in the past six months.
In the past six months...ZERO meetings with his own JOBS COMMITTEE. President Obama is a massive failure. THAT'S why Democrats are struggling.
The media is working desperately to show President Obama as being far out ahead. Even they admit to skewing their polling.

They are getting the money from the wealthiest people in America because they know if Romney wins he will allow them to continue with the Unending War Program which makes them all so wealthy.
