Military is small despite what you think

Just talking to a guy in the room next to me and he was at Camp Sather in BIAP (Baghdad International Airport) before I got there in Dec 2003. He worked with the "heavies" moving stuff into theatre and I was with the local TF looking for Saddam. WEIRD.

I have been living next door to this guy since mid-December.

Yes it is PD.. Last year, I met the son of one of my old coworkers from 35 yrs ago. The son was only 18 and new to the navy. Daddy is retired and living in CA. I've met many old coworkers or shipmates that were on the same submarines I was on. Most of them were nukes who got a commission and were in flight school.
