Can't wait to see if they have to meet the same male standards to qualify. That is where the rubber meets the road on this issue. If not, we are lowering standards that were set in place which have pretty much guaranteed that even males have to have a certain amount of grit and determination to make it. When that occurs, battle readiness will suffer and people will die as the result.
I remember my try out for Force Recon. It was run the obstacle course....and I said, "...how many times?" The NCOIC replied, "Until I tell you that you are done." That was after demonstrating I could make a First Class Fitness Score that included situps, pull ups, and the three mile run in boots and utilities.
