So, just like all the previous replies! Yep, in the world of BS, you certainly did win.

Why cant you just answer if you support it with a yes or no?

Ive pulled out a couple of points about it, because its so large no one knows everything about it yet. Thats why I put it here so we could discuss it and get to know it better.

we spent 3 years debating obamacare, and in that process all of us learned more about it. This bill should be handled in the same way. But you refuse to take a stand on any point.

You and your lefties say you hate bailouts, but yet I dont see you saying anything about how bailouts are now writen into law as a safty net now.

you and the others must be ashamed of this monster and want it swept under the rug. Thats the only conclusion that can be reached by your lack of participation of any substance.

Doesnt attacking me on a personal level get old for all of you?

You're in way over your head on this thread. You can try to fake it but you're no match for MC.

Forget it, Margin. She has no clue whatsoever.

We need a new version of Glass-Steagall and a revision of the CFMA. And some prosecutions. We should probably start with the Republican candidate for president. I understand that Bain delivered 178% return on investment. Even Madoff could only do a consistent 10%. There's also some speculation out there about events in 2009 and UBS...is it possible that Romney was one of the 5,000 people granted amnesty for paying back taxes due? You know, the whistleblower on that case served 18 months in prison, but received a huge reward when he was released.

Madoff's consistent 10% is what got him caught. Did you know it took ten years to get the SEC to look into Madoff?

Quite a few of those years were during Bush's tenure, and let's face it, Bush really didn't care what Madoff was up to or any of the other "captains of industry." JP Morgan has been sued by the government; let's hope there are more prosecutions.

The Frank-Dodd rules are now just starting to take effect. Community Banks will suffer as their capital requirements will increase, gone will be the loans based upon a hand-shake of a customer of 50 years. Farmers will suffer as they borrow money against future crop earnings..Local Banks will not be able to make the loans. We might see a decouple of our banking system. Who knows? It's the unknown that inhibits capital formation and loans.

Anyone else get the "new rules" in a recent bank statement? Have direct deposit or a 1k balance. Frank/Dodd was a money maker for most banks. It gave the banks cover to raise fees; meanwhile, the big banks can still fail and taxpayers will be responsibile. Get it? Nothing has changed....
