your shirt is made of fractals, its in the fibers.

sorry i was bitchy earlier. Im much calmer now. Smile

I did not even think about shirt fibers either. Shocked [/quote

oh we are going to explore this fractal thing my love. anything you are fascinated with, I am fascinated with. xoxox

did you catch my computer fractals comment...01010101010101010110

Hmmm didn't think about that but computers are 0's and 1's so....and I think they keep repeating themselves.

how about the screen, ever looked at it real close?

I told you now that youve taught me what they are I am seeing them everywhere LOL

I even seen some when I closed my eyes last night.

actually I did do that last night.
And that reminds me, back in the analogue TV days, there were 525 lines for NTSC color system and if you looked really closely at the TV you could see the lines.
The Basics

http://hometheater.about.com/cs/television/a/aavideoresa.htm

A television or recorded video image is basically made up of scan lines. Unlike film, in which the whole image is projected on a screen at once, a video image is composed of rapidly scanning lines across a screen starting at the top of the screen and moving to bottom. These lines can be displayed in two ways. The first way is to split the lines into two fields in which all of the odd numbered lines are displayed first and then all of the even numbered lines are displayed next, in essence, producing a complete frame. This process is called interlacing or interlaced scan.

thats interesting too. Smile

heres a blog about fractals, cool stuff

The only thing I understood out of that was that he also said that fractals make up the universe. I did not realize that they did until I saw a picture on Facebook people kept reposting, comparing people's eyes with space supernovas and so forth and I saw fractals in the eyes and in supernovas and cells replicating and more space pics. I wish I could find that pic to show you. Y ou'd see exactly what I mean.

His writing was way beyond the scope of my comprehension.

Fractals are detailed patterns that keep repeating themselves and if you look closely you can see them everywhere.
I have a documentary on fractals and I have watched it several times and could just watch it again. It literally blew me away.
Fractals can be found anywhere, from waves that crash in the ocean, to leaves on a tree, to tree branches, mountains, snowflakes, everything.
But what I wonder is why everything fractals. I can't explain what I am trying to say well enough. But fractals are amazing and they deeply interest me.
You can even see fractals in deep space, in galaxies, supernovas etc.
I think they are the key to the universe.

This one makes me think of paisley designs found in ancient India. I also think a constant study of fractals might cause a person to totally wig out.

If you study these pictures, you of course will see similarities between them but what most people do not realize (and I didn't either until I watched that incredible documentary on fractals) is that they are all fractals. That's why I came to the conclusion that fractals were the key to the universe as they are everywhere, even in man-made materials. Things keep replicating themselves. It's amazing. Exclamation

Those photos are amazing, Aź! Do you remember the name of the documentary? I'd love to see if it's on Netflix.

I've been studying fractals for over a year and have been fascinated by them.

Here it is. "Hunting the Hidden Dimension". It was originally on Nova on PBS.

If you want a DVD copy of it I will be happy to burn you one and send it to you.
