I thought you liked war and killin. Can't always have the high ground. If the Commander put troops in there I am sure he has a reason based on his long experience as a soldier. Those troops may need to be sacrificed to sway public opinion to get this war on the road in full earnest. Public opinion is very important to control and steer. A few troops dragged through the streets, hung and burned helps out overall. Man you better learn the new art of war and quit worrying. Those guys knew they might die when they signed up. I just hope he let them have bullets.
