South Korea has been blessed with prosperity. Japan has been blessed with prosperity. It is time for us to leave and for these nations to develop their own defenses. The problem is and has always been that once again colonial powers arbitrarily divided a sovereign nation which had been invaded by the Japanese where millions were abused and killed, only to face a constant fear of invasion and regime change which was not a fantasy, but reality. This naive idea that we can keep 1940 technology in a bottle, and that nations threatened by us are not going to release that genie is naive. However, to think we can kill millions to stop nuclear proliferation is a bit ironic and moronic.

Each of us need to make an individual decision. Are we comfortable with the militarization of our society? It is a moral choice. How many innocent human beings must die before we fully understand that we have become the bad guys.

The only person threatening, and has been for years, is the fat boy from NK. Bill Clinton allowed this to expand when he was POTUS. Bush kicked the can down the road and so did Obama. Trump is left to deal with the inaction of others. Neither side needs to condemn a strike on the Hermit Kingdom. It's long overdue and since Kim has vowed to hit the US and our allies, what will you all say when he does strike and many are killed? Will you then blame Trump for inaction? I think we work with China to have him assassinated, but I know that's not the policy of the United States. We cannot withdraw from
a nation technically under a state of war since 1950. There was never a peace treaty signed. We are bound to defend South Korea. What I don't see from you is an acknowledgement that NK is a militarized state hell bent on reuniting the peninsula as claime by Kim's dad and grandfather. They have no other goal here. The sooner the fat boy gets a dirt nap, the better. Maybe then we can see NK enter the world of nations as a participant and not a thorn.
